Pope's NYC visit

My office building is downtown right on the water. We have a great view of Brooklyn from our office. Also, every so often when the president comes to town, his helicopter lands on the pad outside our window. We all stand around and watch. A couple of days ago the Pope came to town. It was quite the event with even more security than usual. I tried to get a picture but he was only in view for a few moments between the helicopter and the car. Anyway, I'm posting the pics I did take just for fun.

Happy New Year!
As you might have guessed, one of my new years resolutions is to actually post to my blog. So here goes...

I decided to do something a little bit different this time to bring in the new year. A few friends and I went to Central Park for the midnight run. It's a four mile race around the inside of the park. My guess is that I was running with about 6,000 of my closest friends here in the City. At the halfway point they were serving up champagne...and water for me! I must admit that four miles was a bit tough for me as my running has been very infrequent since Reach the Beach in September. However, I ran the entire way and had a wonderful time. It's going to be a good year.
