Carson finished up his T-Ball season last Wednesday. It was a hot one too! I am kind of bummed for him that it is over but happy for me because I don't have to suffer in the heat to watch! :) He really had fun and I think baseball will be something he sticks with. Payton has started gymnastics on Monday nights. She has been in gymnastics since she was 3 and it is amazing what she has learned to far!
We bought a new swimming pool this year. It is a 3 ft deep pool and is 12 foot wide so it gives the kids plenty of room to play. I didn't figure we would make it to the city pool or lake much this summer with the baby so we decided to get the kids a bigger pool. The first day it was filled with water they jumped in. It was freezing cold but they stuck it out....their lips quivering and all!
Father's Day was fun this year. Both kids helped me fix Mike breakfast and then we headed to Cabelas. Mike picked up some fishing gear he needed and we had a pretty good day! It is so nice to have kids that travel well! Let's hope the new one travels as easily! :)
I am now going to the doctor weekly. At my last appointment the doctor said I am ready and can go any day. Unfortunately that means it could be today or in 3 weeks. I am really starting to swell and I have only one pair of shoes that I can fit my ever growing feet into. I had lost 2 pounds since my last visit and my weigh gain has only been 4 pounds from my initial weight. I am thinking there is more than 4 pounds of water in my feet! It is hard to imagine what our life will be like when the little guy comes....Things will sure change for us!
This weekend was summerfest in Lakefield. Last night was family fun night in the park and today was the parade. It was a pretty nice day for the parade. Hopefully the baby will come sooner than later and I can start to enjoy my summer!!
I wanted to say congratulations to my friend Missy and her family on their new addition. Kyle William was born 6/20 and is welcomed home by 2 big sisters!
Here are some pictures of the last few weeks:
