I hope Everyone had a Great Christmas... We got a ton of Christmas cards this year. Thank you to all who sent one. We enjoyed looking at the pictures, and reading the letters (or should we say "Brag letters" for some) :)
Sorry we did not send out cards this year! We will be sending out baby announcements with a family picture soon after Baby girl arrives:)
This year Austin visited 4 Santa's, he greeted them with a "high five" because sitting on a strangers lap was a little weird for him, but he did make sure to tell each one what he wanted... A Kitty Cat:) We saw Santa's Reindeer. We rode on a Christmas Train. We made ginger bread houses. Made Christmas decorations. Decorated the tree. Made cookies. Danced with the Drummer Boys. Went to an Amazing Christmas Light display, Austin loved that!
We tried to get as much Holiday Fun in before Austin left for a week to spend Christmas with his Bio Dad:( We are thrilled that he's back:)
Austin worked really hard painting and cutting out his Christmas pictures. My left handed little guy is pretty good at writing his letters now:)

Drummer Boy event at Bellevue Square... Every year at 7pm for the entire month of December the Drummer Boys play and fake snow falls everywhere it's a huge thing here, we love going

Yummy, Candy houses:)

Not Yet Little One!!
So the little Angel in my tummy wants to come out!!
Last Saturday I got this terrible, terrible pain in my side, I knew it was not labor pains, but more like I am caring a gymnast in my stomach that loves to kick a nerve or something on my right side. Well whatever was going on, all I knew is that I could not stand the pain. So I went to labor and delivery Sunday morning. Apparently I was having some pretty intense contractions. I tried to reassure the nurse that it couldn't be, and that I have Braxton hicks’ contractions all the time. Anyway they gave me a shot to stop the contractions, it worked for a little bit, but they came back. So they did send me home finally with an oral prescription to control my contractions, every 3 hours I take these pills that make me have the shakes. I guess it's like drinking a few cups of coffee. She still needs a bit more time to cook so I will do whatever it takes. I am 33 weeks so I hope to make it a few more weeks. We shall see.
I still have this sharp pain in my side, which she just loves to kick and punch??
I do feel very blest to be a mom and to be expecting my second child. We are all excited for the new baby to come. My darling little boy Austin wants her out more and more each day. Anson my snuggle bug, just wants someone to snuggle. I think I am a bit moody these days...
*Austin went to the hospital with us; he was such a good sport. When they were hooking me up to all the monitor stuff he said, “It’s ok mom, you’ll be ok!” He is my little protector … I just love him…

Austin was a "Captain" Prirate this year! He loved it, and it was also very entertaining watching him act like a pirate. After we applied makeup to his face to give him a mustache he stared in the mirror and practiced his pirate faces!
We went Trick or Treating with Austin's most favorite friend McKenzie and her parents. We had a great time.
Austin was very polite going door to door, " Trick or Treat, thank you, happy halloween!"

The Gessel Family Reunion
2007 Gessel Reunion... Ventura, CA. This is the house we stayed in for 6 nights and 7 days. Right on the Ocean, it was a blast. We had great meals and a nice cozy room, which we could hear the waves crashing all night long. The house was filled will lots of fun things to do, lots of laughter, and love.
It was fun getting to know our Aunts and Uncles and our wonderful cousins. What a Great family! Austin just adores his little cousins. We can't wait for the next reunion... Hope you enjoy the pictures. We still have some film waiting to be developed.

Evergreen State Fair
*Click on the Pictures to Make them Bigger*
We all had so much FUN at the State Fair in Monroe, WA. Austin was so brave to go on all the rides he was tall enough for.
