We had our own little Christmas on Christmas Eve morning before we went up to Kaysville/Layton to spend Christmas with our families. We loved it!! Scott had fun playing Santa Claus for the first time. He woke up at 3:00 am to set up our Christmas tree and put the presents around it. We had decided not to put up a tree this year for lack of room, and because I already have enough things to try to keep Boston away from. I was sweetly surprised Christmas Eve morning when I walked out to the living room to see our little tree set up with presents around it!
I went a little overboard on taking pictures. I need to stop taking so many pictures because it just makes it harder to choose which ones I want to post! Get ready for pictures galore!

Boston's first Christmas (Eve)!

Wow, my parents are actually letting me touch the presents! Finally!

He was actually really good at unwrapping his presents!

He was so excited to see his new toy!

He gave it a kiss! So cute!

It's a leap frog dog named Scout. You can push each of his paws and they all do different things like sing songs, talk, teach him animal sounds, and you can personalize it to say his name when he talks.

I was so excited to give him this cute toy! We spent an hour and a half in the toy isle trying to decide what to get him.

Playing with his new toy. I think we picked a good one. He loves it!

Awe. Boston giving me a kiss to thank me for his new toy.

Watching Boston open his presents and get excited was a million times better than opening our own presents. Look at his face! Christmas just got even better! I had no idea how much more fun it was going to be with Boston.

Enjoying Christmas Eve morning with our own little family. It really felt like Christmas that morning. It was so fun! We made pumpkin spice hot chocolate and french toast for breakfast. Yum!

Scott opening the jeans I got him.

He loved them. Picked them out by myself. ( Like the bedhead? Ha ha.)

Ow! Ow! They fit good too!

Scott gave me a scripture quad engraved with my married name. He thought of that all by himself. You can also see a couple of the new ornaments we gave each other on the tree behind me. We have a tradition of giving each other an ornament every Christmas that represents something that happened that year, or that reminds us of the other person. We are also going to give our kids an ornament every year. We got Boston a first Christmas ornament. Scott gave me a Belle ornament from Beauty and the Beast because he calls me Belle, and that's our movie. (We were watching that movie the first time he told me he loved me.) I gave Scott a snowman ornament with a picture of us in it from the Christmas Ball we went to, and an ornament that represented having a baby this year.

This is my parent's living room pretty full of presents! We spent Christmas Eve at their house. We had a nice dinner, opened some presents from extended family, saw the Layton park lights, read the Christmas story, and watched The Santa Claus.

Awe me and my sisters.

Jessica's baby Alex.

This picture needs some explaining. In France they have a tradition on Christmas to eat this cake thing and whoever gets the piece with the baby Jesus in it gets to wear a crown. My aunt Karla, and dad both went to France on their missions, so we decided to do this French tradition this year. It was really fun, and the cake was scrumptious! Justin got the piece with the baby in it and was therefore crowned! Look at the size of the piece of cake he got!! No wonder he had the piece with the baby in it! The odds were in his favor.

Scott was ready to pop after all the good food we ate.

Trying unsuccessfully to get a picture of all three grandsons in their new pajamas.

Not lined up and smiling like we were picturing in our heads, but at least they are in the same room. Notice how Alex (the blond baby on his hands and knees) is crying? I just had a laugh attack looking at this picture because it reminded me of what Alex did right after I took this picture. In the middle of his temper tantrum he threw himself in to a somersault. It was seriously hilarious, but you had to be there.

My favorite present I got this year.

Boston and Alex. They are two months apart, so they should be good buddies.

Kind of looking at the camera, and kind of sitting by each other. It's pretty much impossible to get a posed picture of all three grandsons together.
If that wasn't fun enough, we still had Christmas to celebrate the next day!! Christmas pictures coming soon! This post was enough blogging/picture uploading for a few days!
