Keefe made this

I made this...oh and that, and that
After two years I finished this quilt for Hazel. It is twin sized and double stuffed. I did absolutely all of it myself (besides choosing all the fabrics- Keefe helped with that). This is a huge deal for me since as a child and early adult I hated sewing, and sewing machines seemed to hate me -always changing up their tension and breaking needles while I sewed. I made a ton of mistakes, unpicked a ton of it, learned a lot, and in the end I think I did a very good job. Thanks to Keefe for encouraging me and helping me out. It turns out he was paying attention to all that quilting his mother when he was younger.
For Easter I made these adorable chocolate bunnies to sell. They were a super success! Thanks to friends and family for being patrons of the arts and financially supporting my hobby:)

The Rest of 2014
Here are some pictures and words of what we have been up to the past 6 months since my last post.
Hazel turned 3! Annie turned 31! We shared this AMAZING entremet that Keefe made us!
We live in this really cute little house!
It has a huge backyard!
Hazel has been being potty trained and just recently started doing really well and is even wearing panties at night. She is very independent so even after my "training" her for the 3rd time I have had to wait for her to own the idea enough for it to stick. With the next kid I'm not trying at all till age 3.
We went to the Black Farm Stand in York,SC for peaches, tomatoes, and honey this fall. The jam I made was superb and the salsa is not bad either.
Keefe got a job at William's Sonoma. He gets to do the cooking demonstrations. And after two weeks of being there he was promoted to a shift manager! He really enjoys it because he no longer works all day in a bakery like before. He is enjoying helping people!
Hazel was a super cute ballerina for Halloween. She went trick-or-treating for the first time!
After two months of being pregnant our little one went back to Heavenly Father. We were comforted by the Holy Ghost throughout the experience and our testimony of the Plan of Salvation was strengthened. We know if we live worthily we will be able to have our family forever because of our temple sealing. We look forward to meeting our little one someday.

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving with our friends the Hanks'. Hazel and Ethan are buddies!
We decorated for Christmas!
Keefe helped decorate the Ritz lobby for Christmas with his confectionery masterpieces!
Creeeeeepy elves.
Keefe surprised Hazel and I wish a trip to the beach for our birthdays! We spent all of December 1st at the Isle of Palms just outside Charleston, SC! Loved it!!!

Hazel liked feeding the birds, but did not like how they would follow her once she had no food.
Keefe made a little puddle (because the big one behind them didn't work) and he and Hazel jumped in it till the sun went down.

We had a great Christmas thanks to some last minute macaroon and toffee sales as well as some secret Santa who left a bag of presents for our family.
We spent most of the day with the Hanks family again. We played the game of Life. I never really played that game as a child because I did not ever want to take the time to read all the directions. Turns out it is a fun game when played correctly. It was nice to have Keefe home for a day. He has been working 20 hour days between his 2 jobs. We are excited the holidays are over because Keefe should be home a lot more. Looking back we had a very blessed and joyous year. We are looking forward to the adventures and opportunities of 2015! Bring it on!
