ANNOUNCING TINY HALL!!

The Perfect Dream

It all started at my parents house, with both of my sisters there and their husbands. We were talking about going to dinner and decided to go to the Walmart cafe. (Mind you, we were talking about it like it was an upscale restaurant! It made amazing food at your command!) Both Davids (grandpa and my husband) volunteered to stay home with children because they are that good.

We started getting into my parents van (bleck!) When Leah and Joe and Lyric and Ben decided to go in a different car. They got lost on the way and never joined us. So then there was just Mom, Ace, and I. 

We get to Walmart and Ace volunteers to go order our food so that they can get it ready for us. Mom and I head back to the Pampering department. You know, the one in between the pet parlor (where my mom's three dogs were getting washed and major haircuts) and the perfect customer service center? It was a big, beautiful, white, warm but not hot room with massage chairs on one wall, mani and pedi stations on a second wall, and a long white table against a third which is to be explained later. Mom and I got our deep tissue massages and then our mani and pedis (bright blue and red sparkly nails with white stars painted on....it must have been July 4th season) and then we went and sat at the long table while our nails dried. Well. In walks Caroline May, Janet Smith, and my aunt Pat Ensign, all of which were hired as craft specialists to finish our crafts for us while we were pampered and fed. During all of this, our delicious food (soup for mom and yummy but healthy ramen for me!) was being made by top chefs for us.

And did I mention that we didnt pay a thing?

I was sad to wake up, I must admit.

I love Alabama

I love Alabama Ave. They have parties galore and are so neighborly. This is the most neighborly neighborhood Ive ever been on! Tonight a neighbor put this with a plate of treats on our door. With it came instructions to repeat this with another neighbor within 2 days' time. Later I will post their crazy halloween decorations!
