4 months...

My baby girl turned 4 months this past week on this past week.
Oh, how time is passing by and she is growing. I have been kind of lazy (more so busy) with posting pictures. Here is one of the shots that I took in the back yard. I only did a soft edit and left the drool marks near the top of her dress. I will try to add a few other pictures later to show her full dress and other expressions.

I will put a second picture in here and you will quickly see how my little princess has scratched up her little face in different spots. They are quickly healing, however, they are very visible. I did a soft edit on the top one to get rid of the scratches on her face.

Growing and summertime fun.... My little man is growing up so fast! Here is just a snapshot from about two weekends ago we were out of state for one of my younger first cousins high school graduation. I am super proud of my little cousin who was awarded a $150k Academic scholarship to college and he also was MVP at his school from football. He will try to do a walk on as a freshman on the football team and just maybe, he might be able to get additional scholarship money for the athletic side. I am so so so proud of him that I do not know what to do. He wants to become a Radiologist and he has ambition. As I shared on FB that no one should allow any circumstance or situation hinder them from achieving a goal! It is about persistence, prayer and determination. My son had a ball that weekend and I am glad that we sacrificed a quick weekend to travel with kids! It is nice to let family see the children when they are growing and changing so quickly. We were in a somewhat rural area and he had fun running around during the cookout blowing bubbles and playing with his water guns that my parents brought him.

It has been a long time since I posted! Shame on me, however, I have a good excuse. We have been enjoying and getting through the first three months of a newborn. Lack of sleep, every two hour feedings etc. However, the week my daughter turned 3 months she began sleeping through the night and our consistent schedule kicked in. She may wake up once through the night or early morning for a bottle and then go back to sleep after being burped. So, without anymore talk, I introduce to you my daughter. She is three months old now and will be 4 months early July. She is a happy baby and a complete joy. Her big brother is such a great help and loves her to death. We thought we would have tons of jealousy issues, however, we did not. Thank God! I have been a little slack with checking the email account for the blog, so feel free to continue contacting me there if you have any questions or prefer to comment there. I will do better with responding to emails! I am going to actually add that account to my phone so that I can know when I get an email sent to it. Here is a little picture that I took at home when she turned three months earlier this month. Nothing fancy, just a picture to capture her growth and changes weekly. I arrived home one evening from seeing patients in scrubs and my husband and I took the kids out into the yard and took a few shots before it became dark. I will back up later and show a few pictures of her from newborn until now. It is a little different in our home with 2 now. We are adjusted well, however, it is an adjustment. Traveling with 2 and just everything! It is a joy!
