Christmas Boat Parade + a cute Elf

Aaron is quite the Elf so they say. And I just had to see it for myself! We went to the boat parade in Uncle Charlies boat. He uses it to entertain managers from other companies who are thinking about using him for business.. things like that. And It was quite fun to see what part of his job requires him to be an Elf. Well, Aaron the Elf was such a big hit with meeting some property managers from different companies, they also put him on the boat to entertain the viewers watching the decorated boats go by. He has a microphone speaker so the whole world can here him loud and clear! and he's even got bells on his elf shoes that jingle. How cute. Dont be suprised if you see him doing this again next year! Wouldn't it be awesome if he got in the newspaper!

Now that our Thanksgiving vacation is over and all I have to look forward to now is freezing my heini off in idaho, what else can I say but I LOVE LIFE! I really am looking forward to moving back to Rexburg-fun in the snow, mother-in-law (amazing), hopefully our OWN place to live, FRIENDS (Blake & Heather), we might get a dog... (!!!), and working! for the next 6 months.. again. Should be fun. I'll most likely go back to Wal-mart. If I could find something with better hours and not standing, that would be heaven! Like my job now... only minus the extensive cursing and smoking all around me. (It's really a lot of fun...)

Things here in California have been pretty swell. Can't say it's treated us badly. Great weather and 3 1/2 months of marriage ain't so bad. Our little room in our big house is getting quite annoying though. We get the cold part of the house, which overlooks... the next house and some trees, oh and the street! and my pretty car... and the burned hillside... Anyways. We almost sold our cursed 1995 jeep! To some "i-know-everything-about-cars" junior in high school. Lets hope the whole process goes through!

And now finally christmas is coming... which means we leave for Idaho in just 13 days! I am both sad and happy because I will miss my family dearly! And my new friends in the ward. But we're really looking forward to being in Idaho, getting some more schooling out of the way and seeing Aarons family more. Now all I can do is just hope my parents house sells in January and they'll be in Utah! Only 3 hours away from Rexburg!

Aaron has been working extensive hours at work! It's CRAZY! Last week was about 84 hours I think... Now tell me if that's enough for you! That's probably the main reason why I'm looking forward to moving-more time to spend with eachother. My job isn't to bad, I'm working definitaly over 40 hours a week, but I come and go as I please. A nice plus to the job. And the best part! I've become best friends with an amazing blind 65 year old woman named Cookie, a 78 year old genius named Norman, and a jabber-mouth 50 yr old look-alike OJ Simpson, whos name just happens to be OJ. It really is a fun job and keeps me going because I live off the drama of it all to keep me awake when i'm just sitting there dialing on the phone all day. I just wish you could all expierience this for yourself-it would change your life.

Thanksgiving in Oregon!

Thanksgiving in Oregon was so wonderful! The drive up and down was dreadful, but so worth it! Aaron drove the whole way, impressive huh? Upon arrival, our family was already there. We enjoyed wonderful desserts and dinners by amazing grandma carol! We played foosball, went bowling, saw elk, chased turkeys, played games, walked the oregon coast, ate, ate and ate some more! It was the vacation we needed! Here are some pictures:

Aarons 23rd Bday!

3 month anniversary!

Wow, 3 months of marriage went by so fast! Sooner then you know it, we'll be havin' kids! (yikes!) But of course it's all worth it right? Yah. Well, married life has been great! Both of us are work-a-holics getting over 40+ hours a week. We are trying to save up as much money as possible for when we move to Idaho in January. We are looking forward to snowy Idaho and Aarons family. I hope by then my parents will be in Utah and only 3 hours away, instead of 10. Other then that, our next adventure is Oregon for Thanksgiving! We leave in 2 day and are SOOOO excited! A 5-day vacation, away from the stresses of work and our dirty room. Yesterday we basically got all packed up to move some stuff up to Oregon, then to Idaho. So it's a very messy, but organized room. We are enjoying San Clemente, but are wanting a little rain. This nice weather sometimes gets to you and you want a little change-up. I guess Southern California is really paradise. We are trying to sell our Jeep aaaaand... everything seems to be going wrong with that dumb vehicle. But, we still have hope. We took it into Walmart the other day to get it looked at, and it should be good as new (but dont forget its a 95'). While we were waiting for the car, we did some more christmas shopping (which I throughly enjoy-especially for new people!) Anyways, the latest bit of information is we got a calling in the ward... Nursery! Yippe :) haha.... and i'll leave it at that.

Our New Life!

We have been happily married for 6 1/2 weeks! San Clemente is treating us well and we like the ward and having my family close by. Aaron has been working hard for his uncle and I FINALLY got a job after 7 weeks of searching, at The GAP. We are really excited for Halloween coming up! And especially Thanksgiving in Oregon at Aarons grandparents house. We go back to Idaho the beginning of January to finish up Aarons junior year. We're excited what lay's ahead for us! :)
