goodbye

as of 12:01, January 1st, 2010 we are off to start our drive to Rexburg, Idaho and on the way we shall stop in Sandy, Utah for 3 days to visit my lovely family :)

Cali's been fun, but back to school we go. Aaron graduates in July, i'll work... somewhere... we'll see mine and Aaron's family more often... then we'll be back in SoCal begining of August 2010. And that is when our new life adventure starts. No more moving every 6 months or so, no more packing, no more apartment searching, no more throwing things away...

So goodbye Cali... Hello open road!...and snow :(

Follow The Star

Well I accomplished a goal.... for once.... I interpreted for an event. This year I knew I wanted to be involved in one of the two big stake events this year. So I chose Follow The Star. I interpreted for the 6pm performance for one deaf man and a couple ASL students. It was great! I wasnt really nervous, I have the best tutor. My mother. She's the best interpreter I know and she is always willing to help. She's always incouraged me to follow my dream to do whatever I want to do. I never really had a strong desire to be an interpreter but somehow thru this experience I finally could "see" myself as one. So we'll see...

This Christmas will be good... except we're moving January 1st. We dont really decorate for any holiday just because we know we'll be moving in 6 months anyways and dont have room for it in the car to lug it all year round. So as for the extent of our christmas cheer in our little apartment is... christmas cards on the fridge, some sticky cute xmas sign on our window, and our little pointsetta.

This year we're staying put and Gpa & Gma Antis will come down and Aarons cousins will come and we'll get together with them. So that's something to look forward too! Then 7 days later we'll see my family in Utah :)

It's going by too quick! ahh!

my friends

yes yes i know this link is myspace and i am highly against myspace, but i am most definitaly not against my friend tandy shields and her lovely bf edo azran. they are two of the most amazing artists i know. they truly have a god given talent for singing. i hope they always make music that sounds so wonderful to my ears. they call themselves tandedo

http://www.myspace.com/tandyshields

listen to the song Boi (Come to Me)- The first time I heard this song they performed it at a concert at BYU Idaho, hands down they were the best performance of the night. And p.s. Edo is singing in Hebrew (his family is jewish) and Tandy is singing what he says in English

(i'm on my way to purchase this at the irvine spectrum right after aaron gets home in about t-11 minutes, so hopefully all goes well and it looks wonderful on me... which i dont doubt...)

Amelia

Image

After a long day at the office for Aaron and a grueling day of bordem for me, we headed to the Irvine Spectrum to see if we could find something to do. Naturally we end up at the movie theatre and though we really wanted to see A Christmas Carol we choose on Amelia, and will save A Christmas Carol for an 'after-thanksgiving-day' movie. So we quickly grabbed some dinner at the food court and got our popcorn and enjoyed this movie.

Image

I have always loved Amelia's story and though the movie didn't have much of a point, it was just a great way to see what her life might have been like. See had so much passion and stamina, always wanting to go the distance with no one to hold her back.

Image

The movie was good and I'm glad we saw it. Worth $23? eeeh, sure.

NEXT UP!: A CHRISTMAS CAROL (isn't charles dickens wonderful!?)
