Cash

We have a new family member. Meet our puppy, Cash!

Cash is a Puggle (half Pug, Half Beagle). He's named after Hendon's favorite singer, Johnny Cash. Hendon and Daddy picked the name out months ago. For those of you who may not know (or may have forgotten) Hendon used to dress up like Johnny Cash when he was 3 and sing "Fulsom Prison" and "Walk the Line" like a pro. We only wish we had put it on YouTube. He'd be famous now.

Ironically, Cash's doggy daddy is a black pug named - (wait for it) - Johnny Cash! Yep, it was obviously meant to be. His doggy mommy is a small beagle named Blue Bell. Also, we love the fact that Cash is a distant cousin to our first baby, Mabel the pug.

Cash is cuddly and cute and loves to pee and poop on every surface of our sunroom/playroom every chance he gets. Please pray for Lyn's sanity and the sanity of our poor cat, August, as well!

Happy 4th of July!

Here are some shots of Hendon and Merrill and some of their friends at our neighborhood's annual 4th of July parade and after-party at the Elementary School.

This is the first year the kids rode their bikes in the parade, so it was a big even!

This one's my favorite - jumping for joy!

We met that evening to watch the fireworks with our cousins, Major, Tex and Baby Kate.

Merrill's 4th Birthday Party

We partied in our Garden at Merrill's 4th Birthday party! Merrill loved her butterfly cupcake cake, planting flowers and doing arts & crafts in her backyard with her friends and her cousins.
