Hello friends!
Mom is here and we are having lots of fun. We took a little trip over to San Antonio last weekend and had a blast in the 100+temperatures, but fun nevertheless!
El Mercado (the Mexican Marketplace)is so super awesome.
San Antonio has a large Mexican population and I stopped two of the women to ask where the El Mercado was? They told me "muy bueno espanol". Thank you Dora and Diego! Anderson speaks much more Spanish than I do ;) Mom and Anderson
Adam and Annabelle and Gus on the Riverwalk.
Annabelle almost had a heart attack, she never gets that much exercise.
We visited the Catholic church were Davy Crockett and other Alamo heroes ashes are. It was really neat to see!

My cell phone starts ringing, right in the church, while there are lots of people praying. Lovely.
Be back soon with day 2~

Blue Skies
Hello friends!
Anderson and I took a picnic lunch over to the Botanical Gardens and had a nice picnic in the woods!
Anderson says "momma do you really have to take my pic while we are eating"??!
I know, we go there a lot...but hey A loves is, it's free!
It is such a beautiful day and not too hot. Our high is 80, which is really wonderful in May. In July, it will run about 105 or more. Eeekkkk!
It's hard to get this boy to smile for pictures these days. I really have to be ready with the camera. :)
We saw some bees
And ran a little bit...
I just love this tree.
You don't see any of them in Alabama and I think they are just beautiful.
Hope you are having a beautiful blue sky day too! Here is a song that has been stuck in my head all day!!

You are my Sunshine
Hello friends!
Last Sunday (Mother's Day) we spent at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens.
It was lovely and just what this momma needed was to be with my two boys.
Anderson and I got so tickled about something and couldn't stop laughing! Ha! Well...apparently I could for a second....but just to do my beauty queen smile ;)
I cherish moments like this so much. I LOVE this big boy! And love that he will still hold my hand. This kiddo is definitely my sunshine!!
And then try to dip his foot in the water.
I am still trying to take pictures of all three of us. It's a little better!

Anderson and I met my cousin Meghan and her baby, Bennett (who is 2 months old) over at where else....the zoo!
We had a great time strolling around and looking at animals.
Meghan even noted how "good" I was with babies and when was I going to have another one. Hmmmm.....good question :)

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to my best friend and momma!
Top 5 reason why she's so fabulous:
1. She still thinks I'm wonderful(after my high school years;)
2. She knows my thoughts before I even speak them.
3. She loves me unconditionally!
4. She is the bestest friend a girl could have.
5. She is super awesome with Anderson!!
I love you Momma!!!
And Happy Mother's Day to Mimi(my step-mother) too! I love you Mimi!
She is so awesome and has always loved me as if I were her real daughter. When I was little I used to tell my mom that I wanted her and Mimi to get married. I just completely left my daddy out of it ;)
And being a mother has COMPLETELY changed me and has made me a much better person. I love this kiddo SO MUCH!!

Anderson's 3rd Birthday Part III
Hello friends!
The rest of Anderson's birthday party was really fun. We hunted Easter eggs
And took turns trying to break the Diego pinata
This is the little girl that FINALLY busted it. It was my best friend from high school, Shelley's daughter Maddie.
And got to visit with old friends!
My friend, Jennifer from college!
And trying to get the group picture, just right. Ha! It never works out that way with kids!! Baby Audrey's kept throwing her hat off and A was trying to put it back on. :)
And of course Anderson's favorite...opening gifts!! Woo-hooo!!
At the end of the day, everybody was tired, but happy!! (Adam's brother, Anthony and his son, Aaden)
Thank you all for coming and celebrating this joyous occasion with us!!
