Nunna and Bop!

Hello friends!

Sorry I've been away for so long. We've had guests my Mom and step
father Bob(aka Nunna and Bop) here.Image We have had so much fun!!

Anderson really loves to hang out with Bop....ha...I love how he's chang
ed his name to Bop too!Image When Mom and Bob first got married when I was 17, I couldn't quit calling him "Mr. Hall" because he was my history teacher. :)

On Thursday, we headed over to Grapevine, Texas(which has an AWESOME mall...it's huge) and is also home to the Gaylord Texas(same as the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville). We have never been there though and want to try it out at Christmas.ImageAt the mall, they had a Rainforest Cafe(although Anderson won't
go into the actual restaurant, just the gift shop...see why here;) I had to say he was pretty brave...even though there was a snake wrapped around my neck! Ha!!ImageWe rode the carousel in the non traditional spinning car.Image I have to say that I got us spinning pretty fast and finally I had to stop spinning us because I knew A and I would not be able to see to get off the ride.ImageWe headed to the Disney Store, just to get our Disney fix. We only have 28 days until we will be there!! Woo-hoo!!! So excited!! :)ImageAnderson was so super great at the mall while we shopped that we bribed him by taking him to Bass Pro Shop.ImageWe miss you Nunna and Bop...see you in September!Image

Mom and Bob are here!

Hello friends!

We have guests this week...Mom and Bob!! We are thrilled that they are h
ere to spend some time with us. We have been hanging out, enjoying quality time together and seeing the sights. ImageImageAdam put some sand under Anderson's tree house and he's loving playing in the sand....pretending he's at the beach. Boy...I wish we were too!ImageToday, we went into Dallas to Sonny Bryan's BBQ(sooo good)Image and then headed over to (such a surprise) the Dallas Aquarium!!! ImageThis is a Saw Fish. A has a love/hate relationship with this guy. ImageImageImageWe thought about trying the JFK museum, but weren't sure how A would do... But, it sure would have been interesting. One day!

Bob and Adam are going to a Rangers vs. Red Sox game tomorrow night. They should have lots of fun!!!

I am really loving them being here!Image

Camping

Hello friends! Anderson has really been enjoying his tent lately.Image Now, he has taken to ALL of the blankets in the house and he piles them up all around the tent. I love this kiddo!Image What an imagination he has. And oh sooooo many questions he asks lately. About everything!

Today, we had a conversation about a sea lion toy of his. It went like this...Anderson "momma, what's this sea lion's name?" Me: hmm....roger, jessica, searcy, tom, robert, clyde"? Anderson "no" Me. .."hmmmm...uh...bob, horace, jasper, tim"? Anderson "no, it's sea lion" :)

We are waiting for his Nunna and Bop to get here(that's my mom and step dad- Mr. Hall for all of you Northview folks) We haven't been doing too much lately. The pool is closing this week and we are bummed. Went to the library today and got some cool books. Yay for free entertainment!

The Greatest Show on Earth!!!

Hello Friends!

Last night, we ventured over to Ft. Worth to see "The Greatest Show on Earth" and it truly was. Anderson was so excited to see the circus!

I can remember my mom taking my cousin Matt and me to this show in Montgomery. I was 10 and thought it was amazing!

They had a neat pre-show where the kids could actually get on the floor and get really close up to several of the circus acts. Anderson especially loved Kelly Ann(the elephant) painting pictures!

This experience was truly unique and kept A's attention the whole time!!

ImageKelly Ann the elephant holding a dog in a basketImageOf course, the animals, were Anderson's favorite part!!ImageThere were 7 motorcyclist in this cage....that's what the neon blur was. ImageImageImageImageImageCan you just see the excitement on Anderson's face?! He was soooo thrilled!!ImageImageImageImageKelly Ann painting her "picture".ImageImageImage

Ropin' and Ridin' and a birthday

Hello Friends!!

On Saturday, we headed over to Ft. Worth. They had a neat Wild West Show going on and we knew Anderson would LOVE it! ImageImageImageImageImageImageAnderson cried when they lassoed this calf. I have never liked that part of a rodeo either. ImageOur friends/neighbors came along too! We had a great Saturday, and we can't wait to go to Disney World with them also...46 more days!!!ImageImageDoesn't A look thrilled in this picture?! Ha!ImageWe even saw the Grapevine Railroad pull into Stockyards Station. Anderson was practicing his tongue out(aka "Kiss" look). Maybe he will join their band when's he older.....or maybe not. ImageAnderson was a little freaked out by these these people dressed in these strange clothes. Ha! :)Image *******************************************************
Happy Birthday Pappy! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!! WE love you! :)
