Anderson is 5!

Hello friends! It's so hard to believe that my baby just turned 5 years old!! I can remember the details of Anderson's birth like it was yesterday. I had an emergency c-section and then A had to go into the NICU for "wet lungs" since he wasn't pushed through the birthing canal. He stayed there for 6 days!!! I remember the first time I saw him. I couldn't believe he was mine!!! What a strange feeling!

I love this little boy more than anything in the whole wide world!!!!!!!

Mom came last Wednesday and stayed for Anderson's birthday party and I was so glad to have her here and have her spend it with her only grandson. There is just something so special about your mom...ya know!

We had Anderson's party at Country Critters Farm...which is a fabulous place, if you love animals!!!

They did the petting zoo, pony rides, tractor ride and sang happy birthday to my baby!!

I was so thankful to the sweet friends who came to A's party...it's hard when you don't have all your family there to attend.

He got some pretty cool gifts and had the best day!!!

It's great to skate

Hello friends!

Anderson had a birthday party to go on Friday night, so we headed over to the skating rink. I don't remember learning to skate, although I know I learned at an early age. I don't remember it being hard. But boy, is it hard to teach someone else how to do it. Anderson tried and went around the rink once time with a skate trainer(walker) to help him.

He mostly had fun running around in his socks and pushing the skate trainer around the floor...haha!

Easter Weekend 2013

 We had a  pretty great Easter weekend. It started on Wednesday with our church's egg hunt. Anderson found probably 40 or so...crazy!

 Look how many eggs...we were tripping on them there were so many!

 Wednesday night, Gami and Pappy came to visit. On Thursday, Anderson had his school Easter egg hunt and Easter party. He is getting so big! I can't believe he will start Kindergarten next year!!!

 Friday, we all headed over to the Dallas Zoo. They have this amazing creek that the kiddos can play in when it's hot outside. Anderson's jeans were soaked...but he didn't seem to mind!

 Friday night, Adam and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and went out to eat and to Cowboys Stadium to watch Florida vs. Florida Gulf Coast...sadly Florida won. But it was nice to be out with my hubby!

 On Easter Sunday, we went to church and to Waffle House, our go to lunch place on holidays. Anderson was loving on Woodrow...love these two!
