I just found a long lost camera.  So here is just a few pics from our winter months.  The children are remarkably bigger now so I need to get the other camera out and upload some of those pics!

Swimming Lessons

I never new how much caos a 45 minute swim lesson Mon - Friday for two weeks can cause a family to have! haha.  It takes so much more time because of prep before and shower afterward, but we love love loved having Geoffrey and Gwen in swim this summer.  Geoffrey is ready to move up to the next level and Gwen will repeat beginners next year.  Gwen improved SO much with in the last two weeks though and is a ton more comfortable in the water now.

Here is Geoffrey Swimming on the last day of class!

Here is Gwen swimming on the last day!

7lbs. 8oz.

Image I was 6 days overdue and went in at 7:30AM to be induced. I had been having light contractions all night, but still nothing regular. I was dialated to a 4.

Image It took a few hours to get my antibotics done and things before they gave me a higher dose of Pit. I think they turned up the Pit about 10:30AM. My contractions were strong and close together and I decided to get an epidural(12PM) and have a happier delivery. As you can tell by the picture below - it worked! This is just a few minutes before the doctor came in to deliver Natalie.
Image Then at 1:07PM (I thought it was 1:08, but all the papers say different, haha), Natalie was born after just two contractions of pushing.

Image
Image She wasn't very happy at first!
Image But she calmed down after a few minutes.
Image
Image Grandma Jones was able to be there for the delivery and to give Natalie her first bath!

Image Natalie had high Billiruben level before she was even 24hrs. old. The Dr. put her on a Billiblanket and her levels were higher the next day so he put her on Two blankets! We had these on her until she was a week old. Here she is glowing front and back! Our brightest glow worm of the family;).

Dos Preggos!

It has been fun that my Sister in law Kim is due almost exactly two months after I am! We were able to get a pic together before I have the baby. So I am about 39 weeks here, and she is about 29 or 30 weeks! She is having a baby boy and due on October 26, 2010. We are very excited for both of these special spirits to come to join our family this year. We know their Grandmother was excited for them too and loves them very, very much!

ImageThis picture was on the 4th of July 2010. So we were each about 6 weeks earlier. Kim around 24wks and I about 33 weeks. Gotta love belly pics ;).

Two CrAzY Girls in the Tub and One in the Oven!

We had cousin Jessie over for a few hours today all the way until bedtime! The girls were able to spend a few fun scrub-a-dub moments together! They had a blast.

I am in my 37th week and definately starting to feel it! I may not look huge, but this baby has definately made herself at home. I cannot wait to meet her! We plan on naming her Natalie Ann Asbell. Just a few more weeks and we'll have a new baby girl. I think the kids will love having her around SO much! Right now we are in swing training . . . Geoffrey loved pushing the swing for Gwen, so I figured both children would want to push the swing this time around. Still needing to tame Gwen's pushed a little bit, but all in all progress is going well ;).

Summer Fun 2010

Time has been flying by this summer! We have been busy, but we are having fun too!

Our summer started at our old place. When we were moving this sled, I mean rocket, was a favorite toy for our children to take on many different adventures.

ImageWe also had to cook out on the ol' firepit before we left! Here Gwen and Geoffrey are enjoying their delicious s'mores.

Image
At our new place we were able to enjoy the outdoor playground for a little while!

Image
Image
Image And then because the equiptment was not wearing like they wanted it to it was taken down and we will be getting new equiptment at the earliest in September. So for now we enjoy the yard, landscaping and riding bikes at home, and find other amusement elsewhere:).
Gwen loves loves loves flowers! She is really good about looking at them and smelling them. Thank goodness she doesn't try to pick them all over town! That is what I would have done when I was two, haha. Image Here are my spy kids! They love to wear their glasses and go on all kinds of missions.

Image We had fun splashing at the water park Friday evening. Even Nathan and Nick joined in on the fun!

Image
Image
Image The kids love to ride the carousel too! It is a good thing our pass from last year is still good. I think I have spoiled them. It is quite hard to have them just ride once and get off! They love to ride over and over again.
Image
Image Today we walked to the nearby elementary school where Geoffrey will eventually go to Kindergarten. I learned that the playground gate is not locked during the summer so we went for some fun! Mostly I just took pics on the swings because Gwen was being pretty daring on the new equiptment which made me just a little nervous!
Image And the other morning we went for a walk and tried an idea I read in a book. You take tape and put it stickyside out around children's wrists. Then you go for a walk. When you find little trinkets of nature ie. leaves, flowers, petals, sticks etc. the children can stick them on their bracelets for decoration. It was a lot of fun! If you look close you can kind of see Gwen's in this picture, but I recommend it for anyone with young children!

Christmas in June! A House!!!

Today we signed a contract on our soon to be new home! We are very excited and hope it will be a great safehaven for our family in the years to come.

It is an almost brand new townhome. Which should be just fine for resale since we live in a college town. It has only been live in a couple of months by the builders friend in transition. We will probably be living here about five more years so we thought we would kick the renting boat and find a Home.

It has 4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Baths, living and Family room.

Well . . . here are a few . . .well, a lot of pics. I may have gotten carried away!

AND P.S. I am not a pro-reality photographer or anything close . . .
