Blame Social Media

I would like to blame social media for my lack of blogging! I'm always on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest instead of on here. BUT I'm back and will try to be better!

 Life Update: We are now living in Amarillo, TX for the summer. Kristian is doing a internship/research here. He is in the last semester his 2nd year of a 4 year Doctorate program. In August we will be moving to Houston so he can continue with his 3rd year. Half way done, WOO! I am nannying 3 days a week for a family here in town and getting to spend all my time with our crazy boy! 

 Speaking of Beckett, He is getting SO big and growing TOO fast! He is pulling up on everything and eating everything! He is a wild man! He hates to be held and crawls on one knee and his other foot, it is so funny! Beckett is super loud and jibber jabbers on and on.. He says "da da da da da". Kris thinks it is directed at him but it is not! We couldn't love our little man anymore.. if you can't tell!?!

White Coat Ceremony

At the end of every school year in the Audiology program at Lamar they have a White Coat Ceremony. They give the graduating class a dinner in which they receive their "white coats" to signify becoming a Doctor. Next year Kris will be receiving his! YEAH!

Day at the Beach..

On Good Friday, I had to work but Kris took Beckett to the beach in Galveston. He met his brother there with his family. The boys had a blast and I'm SO sad I had to miss out. Only 2 more weeks at work and I'll get to hang out with my baby all day!!! I can't wait for the summer! YAH!

5 months!!!

My little boyfriend turned 5 months old, 2 days ago, on the 16th. I love his little round pumpkin head so much! He is rolling over both ways now and pushing up on his arms, he almost can get his knees under himself.. Woooo! He is starting to like rice cereal. He insist on sleeping on his tummy. He is a squirmy worm and will not sit still, no more cuddling with mommy while awake. Beckett is an happy, happy boy and we love having him in our family. Here is his 4-5 month video!

Kristian's 7th Birthday

Kris was born on February 29th so his birthday only comes around every four years. This year he turned 7! We had a party for him on the actual day at our house.

4 Months!!!

Beckett 4 months old today! He is getting big SO fast and learns something new everyday! We take tons of videos of his so I've decided to do a montage every month. He rolls over now as soon as he is on the ground, loves to stick his fists in his mouth, babbles non-stop, and is an all around happy little guy who loves attention. Here is his newest video!

Galveston

I actually had a Saturday off so we decided to go to Galveston for the day. It is only 2 hours from us here in Beaumont. The day was pretty foggy but it was a warm 60 degrees and we enjoyed as much as we could. We went to the beach but did not get in the water or even close to it really. We had such a fun day though just getting away. We have to take advantage of our time while we are down here in SE Texas.

We also went and walked around on "The Strand" which is a cute street with tons of little shops.

Babbling Beckett

So much to update on! I'm back at work full-time and Kristian is back in school full-time. He goes to North Houston 2 days a week for clinical rotations and I close 2 nights a week at work. Needless to say we barely see each other and it is an evil game of pass the baby. Luckily, Beckett is great and doesn't seam to mind all the shuffle.

He is 3 months old now and starting to be more active. He loves to stand up all the time while we are holding him. He gives smiles out like they are candy. And he is also talking tons!! Which is what this video is of.. We love him SO much! It is the highlight of my day when I get to go pick him up!
