Disneyland 2014

2 posts in 1 day?? WOW .
We were able to get a vacation in this year at the beginning of summer. We were able to go with my parents, my wonderful brothers (all but 1 came) and his cute little family. We spent 5 days there and 5 days was definitely long! Next time we will make sure to put a break in between.. This last time we were able to visit Goofy's Kitchen and that was a fun experience. It is a buffet and the characters come around for a visit while you are eating. The kids really enjoyed that! We also spent a day at Knotts berry farm. First time and probably the last. Its an ok place, probably better if the kids were all older. Another new experience we had was tasting the famous "Matterhorn Macaroons" from Jolly Holiday Bakery. They were De.lisc.ious! That is definitely a must from now on when visiting.
I would have to say I would not visit Disneyland in May again. It was CRAZY busy with school field trips and graduation week. It was also extremely hot. It was 70-80 the week before and the week after we left but the week of our visit a heat wave hit and temperatures reaches 104 degrees! Now with a 6 month, it made it very hard. He was super hot sitting in the stroller but got even hottor holding him in the sun. We bought one of those spray bottles they sell with a fan and filled with ice water. we attatched it to the car seat and let it blow onto him throughout the day. We would soak him most of the day and he would get a grin and just loved it. We were pretty bummed that during our visit our favorite rides were closed for repair. Pirates, Small world, Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, Grizzly River run. Disneyland definitely didn't feel quite the same and as magical without Pirates. Next time, we WILL make sure it's open :) Here to leave you with a few pictures from our trip.

We took a visit to Hollywood (not a clean place) and saw how close we were to Pasadena, we took a trip and visited a site from my favorite movies. The official "Father of the Bride" house. I was so excited. It was GORGEOUS! My dream house :)

Does anyone blog anymore? Does anyone even look at this blog? ;) Life is busy with 3 children. Summer has really flown by. It seems like school just got over and now we are buying school clothes, backpacks and food for lunch boxes. I have really enjoyed having Gracie home from school. She has been so helpful with the baby. They are both GREAT big sisters.  Here are a few pictures of what our summer looked like.

My sweet baby boy just turned 9 months old!! He is growing so big so fast! He is learning how to crawl and I am betting he will be crawling by next week. He gets up on all 4's and rocks back and forth then he army crawls faster than you can turn around.. He is loving food and gets very upset if he notices he is eating baby food and not the same food everyone else is eating. He LOVES texture and he does a dang good job mashing things up with his little jaw.
Well back to taking care of the fam! TTFN
