Fun July Times 2013

4th Of July Fireworks! We did some little sparklers in our backyard. It was so fun to be just us and chill! Happy 4th!!

(Below) Jathan was trying to help Gabe fill up the bucket. I was laughing oh SO hard since Gabe was getting the bulk of the water. One of my favorite pictures.

Oh There is a Mother in Lehi (ME) who Smiles from ear to ear when these boys are having fun playing in the water. DELIGHT spread across their face as they run and giggle and laugh till it hurts.

When I saw this picture (below) on my camera, I could NOT stop laughing. Splashing himself with water having a GREAT time! If any mother in the world is lacking joy and laughter in life, go out with your kids and watch them play in the water and ENJOY the SIMPLE Pleasures in life. I have the MOST FUN when I take time to take pictures of my boys playing with each other. Outside. In the Sun. Not doing dishes or laundry. These moments don't last. They are only little once and I'm SO glad I caught these on photo. I LOVE THESE BOYS

I mean, It Just Doesn't get much CUTER.

So the story behind this picture is this: A week ago, the boys were quietly hanging out together downstairs. I was upstairs. I thought, I better check on them. I ran downstairs. Should have grabbed my camera- I caught them in the living room eating peanut butter by the handfuls. Rather than taking pictures of their joy, I hurried to clean up the mess so it wouldn't spread. Next time: take a picture then clean up. 

So! This time, I was doing something in the other room...They were, again, very quiet. Trouble? Well, I thought I would bring my camera just incase. I got to the Living Room and discovered them playing quietly, Together. Mess Free. Just having quality brother time! I was slightly shocked I didn't have a mess to clean up. But very happy they were playing oh so well! Next time, it will probably be a mess, and I will have my camera.

Jathan is cleaning up the kitchen...Super Hero Style! Funny part is that right before this moment, he had a cloth in his hand wiping off the counter. His body half on / half off the counter with his feet flying out behind him. So he really did look like a super hero. SO FUNNY. Unfortunately, it only lasted about 3 seconds. Super Cute none the less.

What a Good Helper! I love it! I really do.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jathan!

We got to Celebrate Jaters Birthday at the Park! SO SO Fun! We all gathered around the picnic table and everyone blocked out the wind so Jathan could blow out his big #2 candle (it was a bit windy). He had a HUGE smile on his face! It was so fun!

He LOVED flying his kite with daddy!

I can't tell you how much I love these little boys. Energy, wrestling (ok, fighting), Peacemaker, Happy, Fun...They keep things rollin! And they remind me everyday I need to not work so much and have more fun blowing bubbles and going to the park-Just spend more time with them!

Jathan is our Peacemaker. He's happy, he wants everyone around him to be happy, his love is contagious and it concerns him when he sees someone is down. He loves to be chased and when daddy gets him. He always says "get me daddy/mommy!" When Jathan was born, he was all smiles. Just a Happy Boy and a true blessing in our Home. Happy Birthday Jater!

...I love to take time away from cleaning and housework and just go outside with my boys. They help me remember what truly is most important- THEM!

We truly enjoyed spending the evening before with Grandpas and Grandmas and Aunts and Uncles and Cousins to have a pre-birthday celebration, but one of my favorite times was hanging out on Jathans Birthday night, just our little family. He opened a couple more presents and he and Gabe got chased by dad. It made me laugh. I LOVED it!

Trip to Yellowstone!

Mesa Falls. A Must see!! We were the only ones here! We pulled up and it was absolutely POORING! So we stayed in the car and listened to music. We said a prayer that it would let up so we could enjoy the beauty we came up to see. Staven and I said to each other "We will give it ten minutes". Ten minutes went by, and the Rain Stopped! It was a miracle and a teaching moment for our boys. I Love it when our prayers are answered.

Despite the fact that there was a lack of bear and plethora of bison and cold temps, and I caught a horrible cold, we had a GREAT time! We were together on vacation and it was so fun!

Gabe decided it was time for a break, so he parked it!

More Mesa Falls

We agreed as we were on our way up to Yellowstone, that if we didn't see a bear in the park, we would pay up and go to Bear World. We really wanted to see a bear and Gabe kept asking "Mommy where's the bear?" We found this place just outside of the park that had two bears in it. We got our bear sighting!

I LOVE Candid Shots! Try to get your child to pose this shot! Just won't happen. Life is Full of these fun moments and I love to capture them. Its like a little bit of Joy in a bottle. LOVE this shot.
