i wonder

I wonder if we have accidentally created a culture of acceptance that is detrimental to ourselves...

In some sense it may prevent us from caring when something is amiss

so sad

Just read this article. Isn't it sad something meant to be beautiful turned into something so ugly that this woman can find no good way to relate to a man?

It's a slippery slope downhill... Why no premarital sex? What is the sanctity of marriage? What goes beyond the piece of legality on a piece of paper?

The spirit of agreement, support, trust. Formalised in what was meant to be a great intimacy. When it was written, and Abraham knew Sarah, he knew her in and out. There's a need to protect, treasure and value. Desire is only a small part of the whole dynamics, and without that love and trust, it can be very wicked and ugly. These men are filming their partners in something so intimate and private to hit at them to get revenge. Isn't that so sad? To rape a trusted aide... Isn't that so sad? The betrayal is very deep.

But on the other hand, if we choose not to abide in the sanctity of marriage, in spirit and thought and action, are there other safeguards?

CHK

Its almost a distinctive characteristic flaw of people with a lot of control over themselves to want to control the behaviour of others
