finally, an update!
HELLO, WORLD! I'M BACK!
JOY TO THE WORLD! On December 26th, we got this beautiful Mac computer! I LOVE IT!
On January 9th I went to Habitat for Humanity with NHS (national honor society.) It was fun! We painted the inside of a garage that the charity is building. That was tough. Here are all of the officers of the club. I'm the historian.
Every Friday afternoon is Elements Dance Company, taught by Mom in our church building for free! It is great fun and a great workout that I love being part of. :D
I really should be studying for my 4 huge tests this week, but I saw Hannah updating her blog and now that she's off to a friend's house I just HAD to update mine...it's been MONTHS!
SO, I will post some pictures, as usual, with lame or maybe clever little captions. Enjoy!

Hannah Banana! And Luke, our disgusting dog! I like this picture because 1. it shows my FANTASTIC new bedspread (is that cute or WHAT?) 2. Hannah looks cute, and 3. it shows what Hannah does for like an hour every day--sit on my bed! She complains about how BORED she is and talks to me while I check Facebook on my new iPod touch or do homework or something like that. This is the only time she brought Luke with her, and he got eye boogers all over my bed so he is now banned.
Last Sunday, we went to the best missionary farewell ever.....The farewell for our cousin Teran and the homecoming for our cousin Taylor, at the same time! It was SO awesome to see Taylor after two years! And it's so sad that we won't see Teran for another two years!

In case you didn't know yet, we are moving into the house next door next week! So last night we all went through some boxes in the basement and I found some old journals from when I was a tiny little girl. They are SO CUTE!!!! I think I need to share some of the entries. Here are a few short stories I wrote, original spelling/grammar included!
Sarah by Lauren Nicole (oct. 19, 1999)
Sarah was so pritty.
Wen Sarah was 4 she was beautiful.
Wen she was 7 she was more beautiful
Wen she was 9 she ran away. Soon she kame to a hows (house) she went inside. Sarah was so tired she said ther are beds & I will sleep. Afdr a fyoo days went by an old lade (lady) kame by. She was a queen in disguise.

She was selling bananas. One of them was a magic banana. The queen asked Sarah if she wanted a banana. Sarah said, "yes." The queen took the magic banana and gave it to her. Sarah took a bite and fell down and didn't wake up for a while. Sarah woke up after 2 days. When she woke up she saw that she had no food. It was a really pretty day outside. She remembered where some apple trees were. She went to get some, but there was none. Then she saw a trail of gold. She followed it, and it led her to a castle. In front of the castle there was a sign and it read, "Sarah, we welcome you!" So, she walked to the castle. The guard told her to go inside. When she went inside she saw a mirror. She decided to look in it. She saw herself and looked like a princess. She then looked down. She realized she truly was a princess. She spent the rest of her days living in the castle happily ever after.
Sorry, that was kind of long. But wasn't it cute?! When I was little I used to tell/write stories like that all the time!

One day Aleea and Alee saw that everyone was a twin. Alee said here aer all the twins. Lauren and Leana. Ceara and Ceara Dana and Laina Juddy and Jessy and Jasin. I kow said Aleea ther is not verry menny peopel. its a mistorey! ther was more peopel in the naderhood! But no buts! said Aleea. Good I did't have enny.

One moring Aleea woke up. She wanted all her friends to come over. But nun of her friends wer home. She got so bord that she jumped on the ground so hard that she fell into a hole she thought it was a hole but it was a tunnle. and that was when she founed magic.

After Sarah read the story Linda said Emmett say watel because that wood be close to saying Rachel. But insted of saying watel he said Rachel then befor eney are cood say enything Emmett said R. a. c. h. e. l. Rachel. Then Emmett walkted to Nathan's room and climed up Nathan's bed and took a stufed anamel and throed it down then he jumed down and cot the stufed anamel. Nathan ran to his mom and tolled her what happened.

Time for a MAJOR Blog Update!
The only worthwhile things I have been done lately are
1. Girls' Camp
2. EFY
Well, ALSO, Grama Lynn came to visit 2 weeks ago and it was really fun. I got to drive a LOT! :D And I've been relaxing and having a fun summer!
Now to get to the point. Here are some cute pics from GIRLS' CAMP!
We hiked through Minnetonka cave. It was FREEZING cold and full of really cool stalagmite/stalactite formations named after the 7 Dwarves and Dr. Seuss stuff. In this picture we have Addison, Emily, Kayla, Phebe, Shelby, Brooke and Sarah (who didn't know i was taking this...)
When we got to the end of the cave tour, our guide turned off all the lights and Sister Harbertson talked to us about the iron rod. And then we held onto the FREEZING handrail (iron rod) and stumbled back part of the way in the utter dark! It was scary and SO COOL! That was one of my favorite parts of Girls' Camp.
Here is me with Ellie in the car! We were YCL's together with Emily. As YCL's all we did was teach some certification (fun...) to the girls for like 30 minutes. And we were in charge of our tents. Mine was the G.I. Janes. Ellie had the Commando Cuties and Emily had the Babe Brigade. (Theme = boot camp)
I also taught everyone some camp songs from California, such as my favorite one...
Here's Brookie Cookie!!!
Check out those braids. I did them for her. I braided almost every single girl's hair at camp! Including my own! which was amazing!!! :D
If you are wondering why Brooke has a weird splotch of something tan on her forehead, it's because Bear Lake (our campsite) is INFESTED with mosquitos. And as I learned at camp, putting clay on your mosquito bites sort of helps the itching.

My ankle seriously hurt after the dance...so I iced it with our box of BYU Creamery ice cream!

I went to BYU with my cousin Emily and we had SO MUCH FUN!
This pic is from after the Tuesday night dance, which started out pretty lame...but THEN after hanging out in the bathroom for 20 minutes we re-energized, put our lanyards on like hippie headbands (as shown above) and WENT WILD! We were TOTALLY dancing without being embarrassed and it was so fuN!
