Governors Christmas Party

I got invited to the Governors Christmas Party (thanks to Uncle Gary)
It was so much fun!! I took my friend Gloria as my date :) There was good food, good entertainmenet and a tour of the Governors Mansion.

Deer Down the Street

Shelby & I were driving down the road, and about 2 houses down the road we saw this huge herd of deer. It was pretty cool, so we took some pictures.

The Attack of the Ice Cream Bar

Shelby lost her first tooth last Friday. (other than the one that was knocked out)
We were driving to Salt Lake to see the Tabernacle Chior Christmas Concert. We stopped to get an ice cream, and continued our drive. She yelled out "Mom I just lost my tooth" as she started looking around to find the tooth. Then she realized that she was bleeding and started crying. So while she was crying, I was laughing uncontrollably. She was unable to find the tooth, so I told her to hand me her ice cream. Sure enough, the tooth was stuck in the ice cream bar. After she realized that it didn't hurt, she was pretty excited about it. She said, "I wonder if anyone will recognize me now."

Yes, this is an advertizement for myself. Exposure, Exposure, Exposure, that's what us pushy Real Estate Agents always say Right ?? I was told yesterday that finding that one in a million guy is possible. You know the guy who I will marry who is everything I am looking for: strong in the gospel, fun, good looking, good dad...... yada yada yada... There are 13 of these men in the world, so I am told....... Not believing it so far. And OK lovely, and oh so honest, sisters of mine. I admit that I have not dated one of these men, so yes there are still 13 that I have not dated. There, I admited I was wrong in thinking so. Happy Now ?? OK so get to work and find one of these 13 will you ?? Let's not leave it up to me again, because lets be honest..... My judgement in men sucks !!

The Cruise

Here are the pictures of the Cruise that Shelby & I just got home from. The ship went to Cabo Mexico. We had a blast and dressed up everynight like princesses. Shelby told me at least a hundred times that I am the best mom in the world. So good news is, I have her fooled for at least another year !! It was a company cruise, so we were with people that I work with. It really was a nice relaxing vacation.

Attack of the Jellyfish

While in Cabo, I got Stung by a Jelly Fish. Shelby and I were Snorkeling and had seen about 3 fish when I got stung. We went back to the beach and I instantly started feeling really sick. April Wood helped me get back to the big boat. How sweet !! I had a severe allergy reaction to the sting and started shaking and had the worst pain through my whole body. Pain that was a thousand times more painful than labor. I got a priesthood blessing from Dale and Kelly. That helped me to relax a lot. Never again will I go swimming in the ocean. (unless I have a body suit on) Thanks to everyone who helped me. You guys were great !!!!

We just had our pictures taken a few weeks ago. Meredith Carlson took the pictures and did an amazing job. Shaylee was a little pain but they turned out very well.
