It feels like summer..

On the days where it feels like summer, we play like its summer! My girls spend most their sunny days outside in the make shift muddy pond we made with the hose outside our house. Sure it might look like they are straight out of haiti, but they have so much fun playing outside, especially since summer is right around the corner. All their little friends usually come over and play in the water too, which makes it all the more fun! 

 Miss Lily and I at church capturing a quick picture right after I changed her diaper. She is doing pretty good in nursery, we are testing the waters before she goes in in a few months. This little baby/toddler and her adorable dimpled smiles!!! I love her so much.

Now this phase I hope lasts for a long time.. the baby doll love! She feeds her doll with the bottle, kisses its lips, and drags her everywhere. It is the sweetest thing. I caught a little video of her and her baby doll the other day, I love watching her be motherly already.

Its official, Lily is now a group member of being her sisters tag along. Now that she is walking all over the place, she loves being where her sisters are all the time. Sometimes she gets the shaft and they close the door when their trying to play..life cane be so hard at one years old. Zoee and Navy adore their baby sis!

A few weeks ago we visited my sister in law at the hospital. Her baby boy came a tad bit early and he is such a miracle! He is doing well in the NICU. We get to watch him every day on camera through the hospital website, definitely helps us get to know him a little better even from far away. We love you baby Mac. 

Those eyes!

Lily love is an expert walker now! She is a walking machine. Its so fun to watch her go go go everywhere, thought it means double the watching for me so she doesnt get into anything she isnt supposed to. We are proud of you Lily!

Who doesnt love a good tent!? These little ladies ask to build one every single day. When Aus and I went out on a date over the weekend, their babysitter got creative and helped build this master piece. They had a lot of fun! Thank goodness for great babysitters.

Ladybugs on Sunday

After church the weather was so nice, we walked to Zoee's favorite tree and sat around it. Surprisingly enough, a few red ladybugs were also hanging out at the tree. We caught them, until they decided to fly away to a new home.. I'm always happy I have my camera during these special moments. The small moments can be the best one's in life. 

This picture of Navy takes my breath away. She is such a beautiful, wild, special and very sweet girl. I can't believe she will be four in May. 

We might just come out to Zoee's favorite tree every Sunday to look for Lady bugs.

St. Patricks day + finally warm weather

Some pictures of us recently. Navy is totally into building villages and tiny houses for her little critters. I love this stage and always hope it lasts a long time. Navy and Zoee do not lack in the imagination department. I love listening to them playing and having fun together.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The girls left a cool trap to try and catch that sneaky leprechaun, alas he fooled them and got away. He left his favorite cereal and turned the milk green! Obviously, the girls loved this breakfast and had 3 bowls of cereal. Who doesnt love those marshmallows?

Even Lily knew that you only eat the marshmallows, not the grain cereal.. how do they know so young? It was a fun morning!

Carlsbad memory lane + family pics

Every year growing up my Grandparents and family vacationed to Carlsbad for a week and stayed at beach terrace inn. Its been many years since those memories had been visited, so while we were in Oceanside {only 5 min away from Carlsbad} We walked down memory lane for my sake, while I told stories of when I was little to Zoee and Navy. We took a pic in front of the {newly remodeled} inn, it made my heart ache a little {in a good way} for those memories to be back. After we went there, we went to the yummy cold stone creamery that we would go to a while visiting. We all got delicious ice cream, ate it on the same bench we'd sit on many years ago. 

I really have my husband to thank for this fun trip down memory lane. He was so good about listening and being happy for all the things I was so excited about. 

We attempted to take family pictures while on vacation. The entire group got really good ones, it was so great to be all together and have pictures together to remember it by. Our fam pics were funny and kind of an interesting struggle. At least two of our kids have their fingers in their noses, but at least one is smiling! 

I bought Lily this beautiful white dress to wear in pictures, its fitting since were at the ocean and all. She looked like such a beautiful angel! Even if she didn't want to smile in any pictures. 

I love you sweetheart! We snuck in a couple pictures of just the two of us. With three kids its rare to remember to get a couple photo. 

Lily is not happy in this picture..but I'm going to pretend she is smiling really big.
