Hallie's Baptism

This day was overwhelmingly exciting for Hallie, but the best proud parent moment for Drew and I. I wish I could bottle up the emotions and feelings that were expressed and shared that day and keep it forever. I know I will remember Hallie's baptism for a long time and I know it was very special for her, as well. She absolutely GLOWED and looked so beautiful in her white dress, so pure and clean. We are so proud of her!

New Lunch Idea!

We are lovin' these new mini sandwich thins! We've been using them for everything... sandwiches, sliders, etc! Yum!

Family Photos...Gone Bad!

This was our attempt to have Myers family photos. Of course it took no time at all for Jack to dip his toes in the fountain with Braden and Hallie not far behind. In the end, it was a splash war with my mom as the ring leader!

Live it up...Arizona style!

I'm not one of those "going green" people, but I do appreciate supporting local shops and finding delicious eateries. I'm loving this new handbook that helps us 'beat the heat' in the summer and find fun things to do around town. If you are local to Phoenix, check it out! I've tried a number of the locations, but others I have yet to discover! Can't wait to cross them off my list!

By far, my favorite flower EVER! Sadly, the nursery's aren't carrying ranunculus anymore in AZ-- It's getting too hot already (99 yesterday and 100 today!), but Costco is carrying them and I just picked some bunches up in yellow and pink! Love them!

Summertime Snacks!

Yesterday my mom and I went to Restaurant Depot, a store similar to Costco but not open to the public and only for business owners. I got in and signed up for a membership and picked up Sabor Nuestro churros, knowing full well how much my kids would love me. We LOVE churros and every time we are at Costco, they have to have one. Since the instructions said oven or fryer methods, I thought I could pull them off with the oven. They were sooo.... good and super easy! It comes with it's own cinnamon and sugar and we just rolled them around when they came out! They are definitely a "food-you-eat-outside" but we spend half the day enjoying the weather outside anyway.
