Climbing Man

When we were little my dad used to take us to the rock climbing wall at REI. So when we were in Sun Valley and the YMCA had this wall I had to let Connor give it a go. He was a little nervous but did a great job. I hope to be able to take him some more! He was so cute.

My boys and My Birthday

Last week I turned 27! I had a fun day with the family! The day before my birthday Connor and I wanted to make a treat so we decided to make a cake for me! I wrote the lettering and connor did the spots. He loved using the piping bag!

The picture above is just a random shot of Connor before bed eating a cookie and milk! Lucky boy. 

 Beckett is pretty much always eating and always messy. I put bibs on him sometimes but if it's before bed I just let him get messy and throw his clothes in the wash. He is such a cutie!

 We always had a little breakfast set up on our birthday as kids and Brandon is getting on the bandwagon... he let me sleep in and I woke up to this! So sweet. And surprisingly enough that cereal was really yummy!

Some more of our visitors! This picture is taken straight from my front door. The poor deer are so hungry they are forced down here. And even then aren't getting enough food.

New Camera!

I got a new camera for Christmas (and birthday) from my mom and Brandon. So I have been playing with it a little bit. I haven't figured much out but it is fun and has made me take more pictures! So that is good!

 Sometimes we make popcorn and have a "picnic" on a blanket while we watch a movie. We used to do that when I was a kid... except it was a sheet. The true purpose is for the inevitably spilled popcorn, but the kids think it's fun.

 Beckett eats more food than any other baby I have ever seen! He is crazy about food. If he isn't eating, he isn't happy.

Yesterday morning we were visited by these lovely deer- right next to our house. It was fun to see them- probably 30 in all. I spooked them while trying to get pictures. Just another reason we love living where we do!

Christmas 2010

We spent a fabulous weekend in Sun Valley for Christmas. My mom organized the most enjoyable weekend and fabulous food. She even watched our kids so we could go out and do some skiing and snowshoeing. It was absolutely fabulous.

BFF

 The kids have played so well together since we got here. The Miles have a fabulous play room complete with BOY dress ups (unlike all the princess dress ups we're used to at Madie's!) The kids have played and played and it has been great!

 Henderson loves Pajamas and is starting to rub off on Connor. Megan bought Connor these Iron Man pajamas and he is hooked!

 Harry Potter anyone? Megan and Devin are bigger Harry Potter nerds than me. So the first night I got here we had a delightful time discussing all things HP.

 Hmmm maybe a little girl wouldn't be THAT bad. (This picture isn't even staged!)

 Blast from the past! I told Megan if these boys grow up friends and end up being college roommates they have to have this picture in their doorm. Hello!! How cute is that!

Fun in the Sun!

 After the blizzard hit our house we decided to hop a plane and get out of there! Luckily some of our besties live in Phoenix and were delighted at the idea we come and visit. We arrived Friday and it has been a party ever since!

 Yesterday we headed to the zoo. It was actually really chilly! Poor Connor- I didn't pack him a coat and I had him wear shorts because I thought it would warm up! He had goose bumps on his little legs. But he didn't complain! The three musketeers ran around that zoo like nobody's business!

 When I saw the camel rides I knew we had to do it! That's not something you get to do everyday. Connor loved it! I love having fun with my little guy! He is such a cutie. And such a gentleman, always please and thank you and "I love you mom."

 Our gracious host family. They have a lovely house outside of Phoenix that the kids have terrorized! But hey they are having a blast. We can't keep it clean and stopped trying.

I am so grateful for friends like these. They don't come along that often and we are so glad we found them!

Roaring Springs!

Connor absolutely loves Roaring Springs! I wish we could go more often. He is only able to go o four or five slides, but he had a blast!
