This last weekend Kristy and her family came to visit us and one of the things we did was we went hiking! We had so much fun! Addisyn really misses her cousin's!

Trip to Cedar Mountain

For Mother's day Ben took me up to Cedar Mountain, it was really fun and relaxing! It was the best mothers day gift ever! Addisyn started our trip out with a nap! Then we found some snow!!!! There was a swingset in a campground off to the side of the road so we decided we couldn't pass up going for a swing! This is a really cool waterfall we found! Our last place to go was the Temple. Addisyn has been asking to go to the temple the last couple days and every time we would drive around town She would cry because she wanted to go there so bad! So we thought we had better go! Jaylyyn slept almost the whole time but she had fun!

Jaylynn at 2 months

I took Jaylynn in for her 2 month appointment yesterday and she looks good! Not any big problems! She now weighs 11.5 lbs. and 23 inches long! We sure love having her!

Keep it clean

They have been doing some construction outside of our apartment lately and yesterday Addisyn was sitting on the step waiting for Ben to come home. She all of a sudden ran back in to me and insisted that she needed her broom so I let her take it back out but told her she couldn't go down the stairs until Dad got home so she waited and when Ben came home she went down the stairs and I came out and this is what I found her doing! She told us that she had to clean up the dirt!! So she was trying to sweep it up! It took some convincing to get her back in, she just wanted so badly to clean up the dirt! What a sweet heart! (Don't worry Ben was right there making sure she was safe as she stood in the middle of the parking lot!)

What is life all about?

I found this on a friends blog (thanks Mindy) and I thought others might want to read it as well! It's a real tear jerker! It really touched me! It made me think about what life is really all about! And it made me really appreciate that my kids are healthy and I hope I never have to got through what this mom has gone through! Growing so quickly

Jaylynn is already growing so fast and she's only a couple weeks old!I thought I would update with a few new pictures. We are all doing good here! Addisyn sure loves her baby Jaylynn! Thank You for all the Love and Support we got from everyone! And especially for all the yummy meals that I got from some really great ward members! I can't wait to get out of RSV and Flu season so that I can show her off!

Finally Baby Jaylynn is Here

On Thursday the 12th of Feb. at 5:39am, Jaylynn entered our family, weighting in at 7lbs and 9oz and 20 inches. She is a wonderful addition to the family.

Still No Baby!

I thought I would give a little update! Still no baby yet! I went to the doctors today and my blood pressure was high so they thought that I maybe had preeclampsia, so they sent me over to Labor and Delivery to be checked out and monitored and maybe have the baby! I was hopeful but they monitored me and my blood pressure dropped and they said I was healthy and the baby is healthy! So that is great but I still have to wait! So if I don't go into labour they have me scheduled to be induced next Wednesday 02-11-09! So again it's just a waiting game!

Handy Helper

I asked Addisyn if she would help me today to get some cloths out of the dryer(it wasn't hot) and at first she had most of her body in the dryer with just her legs hanging out and she was yelling to me to grab her feet and pull her out but the good mom that I am had to grab the camera instead! She is such a good helper! I know she will be lot's of fun when this new baby comes!
