Benjamin is already 2 1/2 months old! He is such a sweet precious baby and has made it easy for me. He isn't quite sleeping through the night yet but is pretty close. He has done so well the last couple of weeks going down for naps and going for outings. It is so nice to be able to get out of the house for my and Billy's sake and Benjamin does great. Billy loves him too and that make me so happy. I just can't imagine life without Benjamin now. He is so long too! 25 and 1/4 inches at his 2 month appointment. And 13 lbs 5 oz so not a little fellow. thankgoodness my family was thinking ahead and got him some 3-6 month winter clothes! Billy is getting more and more like a little boy with how he plays and things he says. He is so funny! He got 2 board games from his Mamaw from Christmas so that has been fun playing Candy Land and HiHo Cherry-O and seeing him learn how to play games. He is so observant too. We were in Belk today and he saw a sweater that had a truck with a tree in the back of it. He said " That's Brady's sweater!" His friend Brady had worn the exact sweater to church the Sunday before. I better watch what I do and say cause he is definitely watching. He is really having fun at Sunday School and Mission Friends on Wednesday nights. And we are getting ready to start Kindermusik so that should be fun. He is starting to sing songs by himself and he likes singing to Benjamin because it makes him smile alot. If Benjamin is fussy or tired, we will sing a song to him, and it always calms him and he starts cooing. I love watching Billy's reaction when he realizes that Benjamin liked hearing him sing. Billy loves to help me with things. He always says that he wants to help me whether it is laundry, sweeping, cooking, or taking of Benjamin. He really does a good job and it really does help! Billy is saying alot of funny things these days. You can really have a good conversation with him. He always says after we tuck him in and that its time to get a good night's sleep, "So we can play some more!" And I say yes you are right, we need to get rest so we can play some more. When picking up heavy toys, he says, "I am a strong boy!" And we use this to get him to pick up toys. A storm is coming! We have to put up all the toys before the rain gets here so they don't get wet! He has heard Andy say he has to get the hay in the barn before it rains so he likes to do that with his toys too. We both have our bad moments and days but overall I have two great boys and I am enjoying being a mom of two! Here are some favorite pics from the last couple of months.
