WinterFest

Rexburg's annual winterfest. We got there late because I thought it was going longer, but we were about to do a few things.
We went on a carriage ride

Then we did a bit of sledding

Peter Pan's "Injun" friends

Kurt LOVES Peter Pan. I started a hat for him many months ago, but never finished it. He's been asking about it again, as well as making an indian hat. I think he meant out of paper, but he was very excited for this "real" version.
(Peter Pan is finished now too, but I haven't gotten a picture of it)

Oh, and they don't have shirts on because Kurt says that indian don't wear shirts

Jesus' Fashion

We drove down to Utah for Brandon to play at his cousin's missionary "welcome home." They had a gigantic picture of Christ in the lobby.

Luke said very matter of factly, "Jesus is wearing his red sweater today."

Icy-pops

The boys went out to play in the snow, but its mostly ice. They were trying to eat the ice and were pretty disappointed when I told them they couldn't. So I told them we'd make some of our own instead. They ended up being too big and thus, hard to eat, but they enjoyed them regardless.

Pre-School

Kurt has been waiting for this day for a year and a half. He finally got to go to school! This boy is ridiculously smart and LOVES learning! I hope his teachers can keep up with him. :)

When I woke him up this morning, he got really excited, "Is today preschool day?!" After I told him he was right, he then got a little sad face (pretty sure it was all show) and said, "Well, will you miss me when I'm gone?"
Who couldn't miss this face?

Very, very excited to be at school

Thanks for the cheesy Kurt :)

He couldn't wait for the teacher to walk him into class. He sprinted to the door and then jumped up and down impatiently waiting for them. "Come on guys, come on!"
Image
When I turned around to get back in the car, Luke was sobbing. He was so sad and confused as to why his brother was leaving without him.

She is NOT Satan!

Our FHE lesson was on the Holy Ghost. And then we played a game - you blindfold someone and they try to listen to the whisperings of the HG and have him guide you across the room filled with chairs, cars, books, etc. without stepping on anything while everyone else is yelling and trying to trick you.
They loved it and wanted to play again today. Kurt said,
K: "Mom, you can be Satan"
L: "Her name is NOT Satan, it's Lindsey!"

Trying to get a picture of our new "star"

Of course, the best smile is the one with a sticker on his forehead... :)

Then little brother wanted to photoshoot too.
What a cute nursery boy huh?
