Bath Medical Museum has been awarded £13,180 from Art Fund to create a medical history podcast titled Doses of History.

The initiative awards grants to independent, not-for-profit heritage organisations to bring innovative projects to life. This invaluable support will enable us to produce six episodes exploring different topics throughout 2026. We will have guest speakers, and every episode will be accompanied with a multisensory exhibition at the museum with objects from our collection and archival materials. This project will allow us to connect with new audiences, celebrate the extraordinary medical heritage of Bath, and share stories that continue to resonate today.

We are very much looking forward to sharing this with you all.

A huge thank you to Art Fund for believing in our vision — we can’t wait to get started!

Doses of History will be produced and hosted by BMM Trustees James Hunt, Karen Espinosa, and Honey Musham.
