Summer

Where oh where has the summer gone. We have been busy enjoying the warm sunshine, friends, baseball, the swimming pool and anything else that goes with summer. I think the pictures will tell you all about our summer so far.

Easter

I have to say Easter is my favorite holiday. I like that it is starting to get warm and everything is coming to life again. I also like the candy and the coloring of eggs and hunting them. This year we colored eggs using shaving cream. It was lots of fun. The kids liked getting messy. Maggie went Eastering down Main street since the other two were at Grandma's house having a good time at the pool Easter egg hunt and coloring eggs down there. We can't forget our annual trip to Smiths for the Candy pick up. We went to Grandma's Smith this year. And then of course came our hunt on Easter morning. Abby is not a morning person so to find eggs when she would like to be asleep wasn't her idea of fun but once the toys came out she was fine. The kids also got new Sunday clothes. The girls picked out their own dresses and Zack has been asking for a suit so with him being baptized this summer we got him one. Here are the pictures of all our Easter happenings.

Goblin Valley

The Saturday before Easter we went to Goblin Valley with my parents, 2 sisters and 1 niece. It was a perfect day. It wasn't too hot and the wind didn't blow. The kids ran and climbed until they couldn't anymore. Maggie loved climbing with her Aunt Paula. She didn't want mom to help only Paula. Abby liked playing in the sand and Zack just liked climbing and running free.

Snow Days

While it snowed some 15 inches this is what we did. Abby has been asking for pink hair for the last 6 or 7 months so I gave in and she chose a light pink to go in her hair. Then since Abby was getting to choose the movies and treats Maggie wanted a turn. So she hopped in the chair and said it was her turn so she got extensions too. We put beads in her hair to make it a little different and of course shorter because she doesn't have much hair to begin with. Zack loved all the snow and couldn't wait to play out in it. He liked being able to build a fort from the piled up snow from the driveway.
