A Meeting of Super Heroes

Noah called a meeting of "The Holt Family Superheroes." We happily obliged and attended his meeting in full force.... Here is the agenda as Noah had it written prior to the assemblage;

  • Powers (each person had to name their Superhero power)
  • Chosein one (Chose -in -one) - Time in which one of us was chosen to wear a CTR ring for the week.
  • Enumy - List our Superhero enemies cause every Superhero has one.
  • Pickchers - He gave us each a cartoon picture of our Superhero from his Marvel matching game.
  • Sidekicks - Decide your side kick
  • Stikers - Noah gave us each a Trader Joe's sticker to represent our next mission
  • Quechins - Any questions to be resolved?
  • Turns
  • Then after the lesin well playsome games (we played a fun matching game which turned into a tickling laughing game)
How can ya not love this kid to pieces? He is absolutely MR. AWESOME!

A White Christmas

ImageUtah was beautiful and white this past December. We really enjoyed our trip. I drove, through a blizzard, with Griff, Isaac, Noah and Kashi (our doggy). Bry had business in Chicago but flew in the next week to join us. My favorite memories....
  • The boys building snowmen in my mother's front yard.... I wasn't too happy with their anatomically correct snowmen so it didn't get finished. Ahhh..... The fun of raising boys!
  • Time to be just a "sister & daughter" with my Mom & Older Sister.Image
  • Lunches with girlfriends - reconnecting, laughing, simply enjoying time together.
  • The Nutcracker
  • Seeing, Hugging and Kissing my Hubby at the Airport
  • Bryan driving in the snow instead of me.
  • Skiing with my boys
  • Watching Bryan teach Noah & Fall down with Noah.Image
  • Watching Noah shoveling little gloved hands full of snow into his mouth while laying on his stomach as Daddy was tried to get up from the tangled mess of their wipeout on the bunny hill
  • Frostbite on Noah's cheeks
  • Watching Isaac and Griff ski ahead of me, completely absorbed with the fun of it all.
  • Christmas morning & afternoon - Watching the thrill of each child as they ripped into their gifts. Seeing Isaac truly smile when he finally opened his PSP games - all of the gifts prior just weren't getting that same reaction! Noah yelling - "Santa brought me Wall-E. The Wall-E Robot." Griff saying - "Yes! A portable DVD!!!" or "Delacious" about every food.
  • Twitchell Family Get Togethers - I loved spending time with my family and just enjoying the moments. Listening to my Mom play the piano is one of my favorite things in this world. I miss it and when I'm home, I always love to hear her play. I like to see the joy she feels when she sees my children play piano or when she plays for my niece to sing (Jaiden is a great singer too). I enjoy the casualness of Christmas afternoon at my Mom's. The food is always simply perfect.Image
  • Holt Family Get Togethers - Fun games and laughter abound at Holt Gatherings. Thanks to all of the planners of these get togethers. I really enjoyed seeing the older grandkids bond this year. They let the "newest" teenager join them. Griff was that guy and he really dug it. Isaac loves taking care of his little cousins and being "the big guy"/"the cool cousin."
  • Movies & Bowling - We always do these things when visiting SLC at Christmas. I love the thrill in the boys eyes when they watch the pins fall. I have to post - "I beat Bryan!" Ha!
  • Taking Griff to the SLC Temple to participate in baptisms. Very special.
  • Dinner at La Caille with my Sweetheart! This tradition is the most special to me. I love the ambiance at La Caille, every delicious bite of the food, the kind service of the wenches (had to say it!) and the time to bond with my husband. He is the love of my life.
