Summer

Here are a few pictures from summer.  It was so much fun but went way to fast.  All of the kids tried skiing this year which was fun and Payton and Jaxson loved the tube.  We can't wait to go back next year.

Carter Turns 8!

Carter turned 8 this month and he wanted to have a campfire for his birthday party.  It was all about roasting hot dogs and s'mores and the kids had fun running around the backyard.  For the cake we made a giant s'more.  Chris did most of the work on the cake but I did help a little bit.  Carter is such a fun kid he is still our most easy going.  He loves to tell jokes and he takes absolutely nothing seriously.  He will eat anything especially if Chris tells him it is good.  He loves playing outside with his friends and had a lot of fun water skiing this year at the lake.  He has become a very good fisherman and caught tons of fish while we were at the lake this year.  I only wished Chris was with us to deal with all the tangled lines and getting the hooks out of the fish.  He is very kind and patient especially with Logan who can be a challenge at times.  He was so excited this year because almost all of his cousins were at his birthday party which was pretty neat.  We are so lucky to have Carter in our family he makes us laugh but my favorite thing about Carter is that he will still sit by me on the couch I hope he doesn't grow out of that.  Happy Birthday Carter we hope you had a great day!

Logan Turns 3!

Today Logan turned 3.  If you ask him he is 4 I am not sure why he wants to be 4 but we have finally convinced him that he is only 3.  He is such a fun kid and he is growing up so fast.  He wants to be just like the older boys.  He loves soccer and being outside and he will play with his cars all day long.  He loves Chris and would go everywhere with him if he could.  One day while I was getting him ready he said "Daddy is mean" I asked why and he said "He wont let me go to work with him".  I said you don't want to go to work with him it is boring and he looked at me and said "no daddy's work is cool he builds rock walls!".  He gets so sad every time Chris leaves and always has to make sure he gives him a hug before he goes out the door.  Logan loves to climb and jump on everything I am surprised we have only had one broken arm.  He loves to cuddle and give kisses even though he says it is gross and wipes them off right after.  He is fun to have around I will miss him when he goes to preschool next year I can't even believe he is already ready to start school.

 Logan had a Yo Gabba Gabba party with some of his friends from the neighborhood.
