Christmas 2011

ImageI got to spend 10 days in Texas enjoying new baby Cort, Reve, Lexi. Cort was born Dec. 7th and shares his birthday with Grandma Boehme, Aunt Raquel Boehme, and cousin Elle Hall.

We were blessed to have most of our family together over Christmas and we spend a couple days at the cabin. We didn't have snow at home so it was fun to sled and play in the snow at the cabin.

The Brigham City Temple is progressing in the construction.

Yesterday, Nov. 14, 2011 our dear Grandpa Gordon Goody Hall passed away peacefully at home. Our hearts are so sad and we will all miss him but we are thankful for the eternal truths we know and hold dear. We know he had a joyous reunion with Grandma Zelma, Larry, his parents and grandparents. We can imagine him saying each time he meets another loved relative or friend, "Oh my shattered nerves!" or "Oh my stars, look at that, Zelma!" Grandpa Gordon was an example to all of our family in so many ways. Grandpa, we love you and thanks for your Christ-like life of service and love.

ImageWe celebrated Grandpa's birthday when we returned from Bear Lake. It doesn't get any funner for grandparents than to have grandkids help celebrate. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and watched the three generations of boys picking pears. The following week we tended some of our cute grandkids for a few days; thank goodness it was nice enough weather to play outside each day.

H.A.L.L.S.

ImageOn October 14-15 we were blessed to together for the annual H.A.L.L.S. at our cabin at Bear Lake. The weather was gorgeous and we all had a wonderful time visiting, eating, sharing, and playing. There were 25 ladies and 3 babies this year.

Family Tree

ImageMy good friend and very talented artist, Laurie Nielsen, painted this family tree in the playroom of our newly finished basement. She is awesome! There is enough room to keep adding grandkids!
