Just a little note to catch you up
Ok so it has been a few years...So let me attempt to catch up. Last year I got pregnant with my third child. Sophie Reese. She is now 7 1/2 months old. Since the birth of Sophie I decided that instead of waiting to loose the weight, I needed to get the weight off. Before I got pregnant with Sophie I was training for a mini triathlon (1/3 mile swim, 12 mile bike and 5k). Bailey was now 5 yrs old. I wasn't sure if we were going to try again for baby number 3. When Bailey was 2 I had a miscarriage. It was extremely difficult on my husband and I. We weren't sure if we had it in us for a third. After years we were finally ready to try again. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get pregnant so we started trying while I was training. It only took a month so needless to say I was not able to compete in the triathlon. So now a year and four months later I am not exactly ready for a triathlon but I have run in my first 10k. I was nervous. I had run 6.2 miles a few days before so I knew that I could physically finish it. I was praying that I was mentally prepared for my journey. When you are in the middle of a run there are a couple of things that need to be in place. Your breathing needs to be just right. Your mind clear and ready to conquer the task at hand.

The Berry's have Hamsters
Ok, Ok, so I totally stink at this blogging thing. I promise to be better. I don't know if you all know this but I do not do well with animals. Mostly because I am allergic. My wonderful Mother-in-law (Donna) called me up and asked me if the kids could have some hamsters. After I got done cringing I said ok. They love them and have even named them. I am ok as long as they don't touch me. I don't know what I will do if they get loose.

It Finally Happened
I finally got started, Thank you Naomi and Carolyn for your help. I have officially entered the 20th century. Let me tell you all that I have been up to.... changing diapers. No really Bailey (my sweet 2 year old) is working on being potty trained. In potty training this girl she has broke herself from sucking on a pacifier. I know that you are wondering what the two have anything to do with one another. There we were in the bathroom. Bailey sitting on the big potty with one sassy (pacifier) in one hand and a sassy in her mouth. She was looking down into the potty and dropped her sassy in the potty. I fished it out (because I am wonder woman) and threw it in the garbage. I said, " I'm sorry Bay. I had to throw it away, because you dropped it in the potty." In my mind I was thinking "Sweet only 1 more left and we will be sassy free." She looked in the potty again and her sassy fell out of her mouth and into the potty. She said, "Don't worry Mom I'll just dry this one." "Oh no Bailey this is going in the garbage too." I said. That happened before Thanksgiving. Although I thought that she would be potty trained by then, she was not. She is broke from her blessed "sassy". She still talks about it, asks for it. I will remind her in a soft voice that we had to put them in the garbage. She is doing well and sleeps through the night. Thank goodness. Maybe some day soon she will be done with her pull ups. Pray for me.
