School's Out, Summer's Here!

Esther's kindergarten teacher was such a good one for her, and was for Spencer when he had her.  Ammon is already sad that he won't get her and asked if we will find another one as good as her when we move!

A picnic lunch with our good friends, before school was out.  It never occurred to me how often I'm surrounded by boys these days!

We finally got a cub scout shirt for Spencer and it was sweet to see how excited he was to wear it to pack meeting.

For Memorial Day I brought the kids to a cemetery to look at the flags on the graves.  Esther was really hoping to find a grave with her name on it and she did!

Micah is 2!

Easter

The kids got to have two egg hunts, one with some ward friends and one in our backyard.  It was chilly both times!

More of Micah

Micah has been hooked on shredded wheat lately.  I saw this "Giant" box and knew he'd have no problem getting through it!  He generally eats 2-3 bowls of it each morning.

He was super excited about these Batman pjs, and when I saw him carrying around his Batman figure, I asked him to stop for a photo.  I love how you can see his tongue between his lips as he says Batman, Micah-style :)

This one cracks me up too, Ammon trying to help show off Batman.  He happens to love his Spiderman pjs and likes to pretend he's him by pulling the sleeves over his hands and pulling the pants down over his feet, sneaking around in the mornings.  Spencer was never into superheros so it's fun to see these two get excited about them.

And somehow it never gets old for the kids to try on Daddy's slippers, they think it's so funny!

Birthdays

Esther wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese on her birthday and had no problem going up for a photo.

She also got to have a party with friends on the weekend, they were a cute bunch of girls and she soaked up the attention and fun.

 Birthday packages in the mail are always so exciting, thanks Aunt Emily!

Ammon felt very grown up to be turning 4 but was disappointed when I told him he wouldn't ever catch up to Spencer.  Being a younger brother can be tough.

He chose a Ninja Turtle cake and I luckily found a super simple design to try out.  He was thrilled and that was all that mattered!

 Ammon also wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday but we didn't end up getting any photos.  He loved collecting all the tickets and riding the cars or anything else that moved and keeps asking when we can go back.

Christmas Break and January

Micah has been Mr. Independent lately... 

He thinks he's going out with the big kids, despite missing a few things.

Bath time is one of his favorite parts of the day.

He has been falling asleep on the couch each night because he won't go in his bed without a big fuss and waking the others.  He is still doing great for nap time though so we're going with it!
