Sick

Image
Poor Spencer has been sick with a fever all day. It was nice to hold him more and to have a break from keeping him out of everything, but we will all be a lot happier when he is back to his rambunctious self.

Videos for Gramma

These are a bit late, partly due to procrastination and partly because the Internet was down, but I wanted to post some videos for my mom to enjoy for her birthday. I know it would be more fun to see Spencer in person, but hopefully seeing these videos will help. This one is with his new toy (I found it on clearance and decided it would just have to be a very early birthday present) and there are two other videos that follow, though one got posted after Daniel's birthday post (which also has a video). Anyway, Happy Birthday Mom!! We love you!

Hiding

Spencer has figured out a new game of hiding behind the curtains in his room (on the closet) and then found this spare sheet in his dresser drawer that worked just as well.

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Image
Thursdays are Daniel's busiest days of the week so that wasn't the best way to spend his birthday, but we enjoyed the few hours we had with him in the evening and will celebrate with style tomorrow night when he is a bit more relaxed. I wanted to post this cute video I caught yesterday of Spencer when I was trying to get him to do something else. There's a family picture on the wall behind me that he sees, and, well, you'll see for yourself what catches his attention. (I will just add that I have never pointed the picture out to him before.)

Spencer certainly loves his daddy and is always so excited when he comes home. Some mornings he starts to cry when Daniel leaves so we have to go to the window to watch him go. As fun as it is for Daniel to get this attention from Spencer, I love seeing his smile as he picks up his son and gives him a kiss on the forehead as he comes and goes. How I love my boys!!

Go!

All we have to do is say the word go and he gets his shoes, hands me mine, and heads to the door.
