I am so blessed..

Mak Chaq dapat another 2 nephews.

Yes, people.. nephews mean boys..

So, Mak Chaq ada 4 nephews..Wah happy sangat!

Year 2014...

I am double blessed..

I am expecting another family member..

Boy or girl is another story, and frankly, I don't mind at all..janji baby sihat walafiat..Ameen!

But why do I have this feeling like it's going to be a boy jugak..huhihuha

Trip to Kuantan : Swiss-Garden Resort & Spa Kuantan

It’s been a while I am not updating my blog.

Busy with every routine in my life.

Sometimes I tried to write something but the thing I jot down usually will goes to the draft section..hehe.

Anyway, last week is the best week in  year 2012. Kenapa I cakap camtu sebab bila ambil cuti 3 hari maka cuti kita akan jadi 9 hari..waaah, happy bukan??

In the middle of juggling my work and my unstable emotion, this is a perfect escapade for me...

My colleague had invited me for a wedding and the moment I got the card I quickly called my MIL.

“Mak, would you like to go tu Kuantan with us?Hadiff would love his nenek to join him”

My MIL agreed and I brought along my SIL.

I googled for our stay in Kuantan. Legend and Hyatt were on my top list. But then, fully booked. T_T

Adoi, lupa pulak cuti sekolah.Since my youngest in family dah habes sekolah, jadual cuti sekolah memang takde dalam diary I. Tunggu My Lil Champ masuk sekolah baru I khatam jadual kelas ngan cuti skolah kot.

Tup tup yang tinggal kekosongan hanyalah Swiss Garden.Tanya my friend orang Kuantan pastu dia cakap quite okay. Okay..dengan pantas dan tuntas I terus book 2 rooms for 1 night. Done! Then I decided to google review on the hotel. Okay,lets see what we have here...

: The hotel offers bad service..Gulp!

: Poor arrangement..bla bla..another gulp!!

: Pleasant stay, comfortable stay.. hee..*sinar harapan melanda”

: Own private beach, big pool, has kids club..Oh i loike!This is the one.They have just completed me!!

: To be avoided blab la... =.=

For the conclusion, review yang I dapat adalah bercampur-campur. Some people say it is okay some people disagree. Since, they have charged the bill, apa yang boleh buat adalah Redho je laaa..

We started our journey after we had our breakfast at My Other Half favourite breakfast spot, Kedai Mamak Taqwa. Roti Tampal dia tak pernah mengecewakan. And I really like their choices of nasi lemak. Memang banyak. Nasi lemak bungkus daun pisang plak tu.. Yummeh!

We arrived at Kuantan at 2pm. Along the way , it was raining cats and dogs. Nampak gaya bersukaria dalam bilik hotel jela kalau hujan camni sepanjang hari ni. Luckily I’ve download all My Lil Champ’s favourite cartoon and I brought along his cd. Otherwise he will be jumping here and there and lastly kene jentik ngan mama dia..hahaha..

My prediction was totally wrong. It was a bright and sunny day in Kuantan.  Tak sempat nak ambik gambar dengan pengantin sebab waktu nak balik tu pengantin baru nak sampai. Apapun, Selamat Pengantin Baru and hope this marriage will last until Jannah. May Allah bless you.

We continued our journey to Swiss Garden which located 20 minutes from Ana’s house.

The check in process went smooth. We booked through Agoda.com and I did not request joining room and large bed. But Hotel Management did help a lot and we upgrade the room for additional RM30 only! The room is huge (at least not as I expected).They also get us the large bed and joining room. senang awang tu nak berlari kesana ke mari.

Since we only stayed for a night, we agreed not to waste time. At 4pm, we went to the pool and later terus menyelam di pantai..Wah, mak suke..bercanda di tepian pantai..Sila behave, mak mertua ada di situ..haha!

Nak dekat 3 jam jugakla kitorang berenang-renang, bercanda di tepian pantai dan bertepuk tampar di gigi air...waaah!My Lil Champ pon senang je nak ajak naik. Kalau tak memang berchenta la nak tarik dia kuar pool tu..huhu.Balik hotel bende pertama dia buat adalah mintak makan.. Haa, tau pon..Kalau tak susah sangat nak makan! I buatkan bubur nasi instant dan roti cicah susu.

After performing solat Maghrib, we went out for dinner. Various choices for dinner. Bukan takat seafood je, sizzling noodle, nasi lemak etc. So xdela bosan sangat..Sila layan gambar makanan kitorang malam tu..Boleh tak i tak ingat nama restoren kitorang makan tu..the food taste delicious and service pon laju je. and yang penting bersesuaian dengan harga..I memang cukup pantang kalau kene ketuk ni..memang panas je hati.Kalau sedap bolehla dimaafkan lagi..

Apa lagi, sesi mengepau nenek la.. Berbahagialah si Warrior ni dengan swordnya.

Day 2

We went early for breakfast. Mula-mula masa pilih seat redup je tempat kitorang. Lepas matahari naik je, mak ai.. macam sun bathing plak I ni kan..mengenangkan Vitamin D yang I dapat dan warna kulit ala-ala Beyonceyang bakal ku dapat ku tahan jua. Tapi selepas tak lama itu, dah peluh keluar macam air terjun, memang surrender!  Sempat makan omelette, coffe dan apple crumble je. Selalunya I makan lebih tau..Rasanya setiap menu yang hotel offer I lenjan habes-habesan.

My Other Half took My Lil Champ for swim. In the mean time, Mama bolehla bermalasan atas katil yang empuk tu. Thank you, darl!

Pukul 12 pm, kitorang dah check out sebab banyak lagi program kitorang walaupun hanya setengah hari je. We bought some kerepok lekor, seafood fritters and coconut drink. Trust me, everything is worth buying. Sedap dan fresh. Cheap as well!Jangan lupa singgah kat kedai Keropok Fatimah. Lokasi kedai berhadapan dengan Hotel Swiss Garden ni. Saya suka sangat!

Kedai tu ada jual souvenir macam seashell ni,keropok keping timbang, keropok segera, barang-barang IKS lain pon banyak jugak

Keropok kitorang singgah kedai lain sebab kat kedai Fatimah tu belum sampai keropok lekornya.

Sotong celup tepung ni memang terbaik. Dahla fresh, kruk kruk dia sangat sedap and its cheap!RM2 secucuk dan  kuah cicah dia memang mabeles

Karipap kentang dan karipap inti ikan.. Sedap jugak!

Next mission was getting fresh patin and talapia at Temerloh. For your information, Temerloh has been rebranded to Bandar Ikan Patin. Patin fish is a type of freshwater catfish is a local delicacy highly sought after in the country. Patin fish is famous for its juicy taste and can be considered one of the best freshwater fish in Malaysia. Ada paham?

Nak dekat sejam jugak la kitorang kat town tu. Dengan cari kotak ikan, ais etc. . Finally, we bought 5 patin and 7 talapia.. Great catch, mak!!Good Job!!

I took 3 talapia since I do not know how to cook patin and do not fancy the fish at all. Don’t get me wrong, its delicious  but not at my liking. Thats all..
We reached home at 7 pm exhausted but a big smile on our face ^_^

Overall, my personal review on the hotel is the location is great. If you want night life you may just go to Kuantan which only 20 minutes from the hotel.

Beachfront!and plus it is clean and well maintained. The pool is big and my Lil Champ enjoyed very much!

The room is pleasantly furnished and it has huge space. Enough for my Lil Champ to release his energy.

The con is only at their breakfast which I found not that much of choices and the dining area is exposed to the sun light. But I believe the concept is beach so it should be open. Cuma untuk orang kulit manja macam I ni memang susah sikit la ;p

Time peak hour macam tak cukup meja la sebab semua orang tak nak makan kat tempat yang panas tu.Tambah2 I pegi time school holiday which is tersangatla ramai orang.

However, We will definitely come back! See you soon, Swiss Garden :)

Lil Champ's Day Out : Aquaria KLCC

As usual..it was unplanned activity..

My Other Half had to work on that Saturday and I was so frustrated.

Then, he suggested us to hang around at KLCC while waiting for him.

That was a cool idea.

Some more I dah lama tak bawak bibikku berjalan jugak.

Last I bawak dia pi Singapore pastu lepak A Famosa Resort which was on May.

We arrived at KLCC around 1 pm and we had lunch at the food court.

I had the best mee curry and Kak Maria without fail would order assam laksa.

While hanging around and around then I saw this picture then I thought why not we go to Aquaria. Kak Maria Lil Champ would love this!

Behind us is the fish we called Red bellied Piranha. Oh, my, they really look like soo innocent. Couldn't imagine how they can turn you into pieces of meat..SCary!!

Nelly bawak Hadiff yer..Mama tak sanggup nak tengok ular tu tidur melingkar macam tu..I couldn't stare at the snake.. It made me goose bump!

My Lil Champ is imitating me.. Tiap kali Mama tengok ular, katak bagai mesti Mama tutup mulut..Bukan Mama takot, nak..Mama Gelliiiiiiiiiii!!!!
