Charles shot his first BUCK!!!!

Polar Express

This weekend we went to Lubbock to take a train to the North Pole! We boarded the Polar Express and headed North (well really west, but the kids didn't notice).

Along the way we had hot chocolate and sugar cookies while the story was read.

As the story ended we arrived at the North Pole and saw Santa and all his Elves.
We couldn't believe it when Santa boarded the train and gave each of us a silver bell.
You know what....IT JINGLED!!!!

We all had a BLAST on the Polar Express! I loved the expressions on my kids faces all night...PRICELESS!!

Wedding Weekend

My brother David got married this weekend to a wonderful girl. We are so happy to have Sarah and her little girl Chloe in our family. Here a few pictures from a fun, but exhausting weekend!!

I know...for some reason I didn't get a picture of the bride and groom. It isn't easy keeping up with three kiddos, being a bridemaid, and being the groom's sister. I was so honored that by brother had a brother/sister dance because he couldn't have the mother/groom dance. Thank you David for thinking that much of me. I was truly honored...I love you!!!

This afternoon my sweet Charles came running into the house from the bus with a HUGE smile on his face. I said,"did you have a good day a school" and Charles said, "Yes! I wrote a Thanksgiving story for you and I'm going to read it to you." It made my heart SMILE!!

You know sometimes I wonder if my kids really know how much I love them. It seems like so often I'm on their case, but it is because I do love them and want them to be good people. When Charles read this to me today I just lost it. He said, "Mom why are you crying." I told him, "Charles it is because I'm so proud of you and love you so much." This was a HUGE answered prayer because I've really been struggling with my ability as a mother. Thank you God for all your many BLESSINGS!

Breakfast with Santa

This weekend Corley, Minnie, and I went to have Breakfast with Santa. It was so much fun! Manny and Aunt Dana joined us too! The kids had a great time doing the cupcake walk, making reindeer food, and Corley got his face painted. BUT we didn't sit in Santa's lap or get too close for that matter, because a certain little boy is SO scared of him!!! We had a great time anyways and look forward to making it a tradition!!

October is Over

Wow!!! I can't believe October is Over! I'm trying to catch my breath!!!!
We are in full swing of cotton harvest which means I'm basically a single mom for a month!! I PROMISE I don't want to raise these 3 little blessing all by myself. So, since I didn't post ALL month here are a few pictures. Enjoy!

Playing Catch Up...

it seems like that is all I do anymore! As we added our third and FINAL member of the Belew family in 2010 it has been an enormous blessing, but also a HUGE change in our daily lives. With two little munchkins we could play a little man to man defense, but with three it is all about the zone around here. I hate to say it but sometimes it gets the better of me. I have had many not so great "mommy moments" these past nine months, and this has resulted in a BUNCH on "mommy guilt". I just hope with all of our faith and trust in God we can raise these little guys according to His will.
So, I'm going to try and be better about updating our blog. Maybe I won't be playing "catch up" so much in the near future!

Summer Vacation

We ended our summer with a family vacation to San Antonio. You better bet we hit up all the cool spots!

First, we had a little celebrating to do since it was Corley's third birthday. He wanted to celebrate at the Rainforest Cafe so that is what we did.


The rest of our vacation was spent at Sea World, the zoo, and the Buckhorn Museum. Here are some pics from Sea World, but somebody forgot her camera the day we went to the zoo and Buckhorn!!!






To finish out our vacation we headed down to South Texas for a visit with my Cousin Lane and his family. It was so nice to see them and just spend the day visiting, eating, swimming, and well eating so more. His wife Elaine is an AMAZING cook and we so enjoyed the meal. The kids had so much fun playing with Lena Kate and we hope we get to see them again really soon.

We had such a nice family vacation! It was nothing fancy or too exciting, but it was just what we needed. We spent LOTS of time just playing with our kids and enjoying them.
I promise I will try to be better about blogging, but with 3 kiddos constantly on the go it is sometimes hard.

Family Fun in the Sun

This weekend we decided last minute to head over to the lake for a little family fun. It was our first time out for the summer and I hope we get to go again soon! We had the BEST time and just got to enjoy our sweet family.
First up we did a little celebrating for our nephew's 13th birthday.
