We did manage to make it around the rink a couple of times but, suffice it to say, this was not our favorite activity. I did overhear Brendan explaining to Brent later in the week, when he saw figure skating on TV, "Daddy, it's not that easy..."

The best part of the day was hearing Brendan repeat these words on our way home ~ and "Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that". Awwww, he's so precious!
