Activity Day -- Swim Party

Summer hosted the annual Girls Activity Day swim party at her house and everyone had a splashing good time!  Thanks to chaperones Sis Hendrix and Sis McRae, and special thanks to Activity leader Sis Barney who is moving on to another calling.  Aubrey, Annie and Rylee will be moving up to YW soon and we will miss all of you.

Blue & Gold Banquet

Cubs scout families gathered to recognize the achievements of our awesome cub scouts.  Boys decorated cakes for the event and received medals for their accomplishments.  Way to go, boys!

Girls Activity Day at Atria Hacienda Assisted Living Facility

Girls gave out decorated lanterns and made lots of new older friends.  They all sang together and the residents urged our girls to return for another visit.  We have the sweetest, prettiest girls, and their sweet spirits brightened the day of the elderly.

Activity Day -- lanterns for service project

Girls prepared for July service project by painting and decorating paper lanterns to pass out to residents in Atria Hacienda assisted living facility. Lots of mess and lots of fun!

July -- Families are part of Heavenly Father's plan.

Week 1: Heavenly Father planned for me to come to a family.

Week 2: Family prayer, family scripture study, and family home evening can strengthen my family.

Week 3: The priesthood can bless and strengthen my family.

Week 4: Heavenly Father wants me to marry in the temple and have an eternal family.

Scripture: “The family is ordained of God” (“The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” paragraph 7).

Fathers Day Activity

Girls baked cakes ahead of time and brought them to Activity Day and decorated them to look like Dad's white shirt and tie.  We are so grateful for our hardworking dads!

June theme: I will follow Heavenly Father's Plan by being baptized and confirmed.

Week 1: I will follow Jesus Christ by being baptized and confirmed and keeping my baptismal covenants.

Week 2: If I live worthily, the Holy Ghost will help me choose the right.

Week 3: When I take the sacrament, I renew my baptismal covenants.

Week 4: When I repent, I can be forgiven.

Scripture: “Come unto me, and be baptized in my name, that ye may receive a remission of your sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost” (3 Nephi 30:2).
