Avree B-Day, October Happenings

Wow, the last few months have flown by! I can't believe in just a few short weeks we will be a family of 6! AAHHH! We are so excited! The girls have been loving school! (and I love the break :) They went to Mother Natures Farm for a field trip and had a blast decorating pumpkins and feeding animals.

Here are a few pictures from our ward trunk or treat! The kids loved it! (ok the girls loved it, Reed was just a little grouchy) I was the "moon" well, my belly was. Tonight they will dress up again and I'll post pictures in a few months! :)

Yes, we are one day away from November and I'm just getting around to posting pictures from Avree's 4th B-Day party! I've got excuses....
She LOVES Minnie Mouse so of course requested a Minnie cake. Don't laugh, I tried my best.
She had lots of fun swimming and eating pizza and cup cakes and ice cream! Thanks to everyone that came and celebrated her special day! She sure has great friends and family! I can't believe I have a 4 yr old!!

Ta Da!

I know I've been a lousy blogger, truth is I've been super lazy and haven't been good about getting my camera out to take pictures of my cute kids. Sad and I'll regret it. I'll do better.
We also haven't done to much. We did go up to Thatcher for Pioneer Days, had tons of fun and took zero pictures!
The girls had been in a little singing group and had a performance. They loved it. Nixyn stared at the floor the whole time. O well it was fun to watch. Here are the little pictures I have taken. I don't know why some of the flipped but I'm leaving them anyways.

four attempts to get them to smile together and it was not a success.

Pregnancy update! I'm 25 weeks now, feeling huge and getting impatient! Hopefully since I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now things will start to move fast! I'm not ready for him to be here but ready for him to get out! :) We have kind of picked out a name but I'll keep it a surprise! I have lots of things to get done and can't motivate myself to do them. Hopefully my energy will kick in soon!

Easter 2011

I've been a blogger slacker lately. No energy, no motivation, finally feeling well enough to get off the couch.
Are my hints strong enough? This Easter was extra special! We announced that #4 is on it's way!! I'll go ahead and answer your questions now, yes, we are crazy, yes, we have a t.v. and yes, we know what causes it : )
We had been debating for awhile if we were done or not and I guess we got our answer! We are so excited and the babe should arrive around Thanksgiving! I can't wait!
On to the pictures! The girls had a blast this Easter! Holidays are getting better and better, it's so fun to see their reaction!

As the Easter Bunny was preparing the kids baskets he realized her forgot to make one for Reed boy. Luckily he  had some extra eggs in the form of Reed's favorite toys. As you can see, Reed was more than happy with them!

Niki

We've been doing a whole lot of nothing around here, it's sad that a visit to the hospital is what gets me to blog.
Yesterday we were hanging out with Billy at the shop, I took the kids over to his parents to nap and when they woke up I took the girls outside to swing and I walked over to the shop with Reed to see what Billy was up to. Maybe 5 minutes later we hear a little cry so I head over toward the house but the girls were already on their way to us, I see blood and turn to get Billy. I didn't even want to look, I knew it was going to be bad. He stopped what he was doing ran over picked her up, we saw her ear and immediately left for the hospital. I HATE when my kids are hurting. I would have done anything to trade her places.
Mom and Pa Baker have a swing that we refer to as the death trap... It's heavy it's metal two people sit on it and it swings fast. I can never watch while the kids are all playing back there because someone always walks to close to it and it's usually Nixyn. They have all avoided getting hit by it until yesterday. When I saw the blood I knew exactly what had happened. Billy and his siblings grew up playing on that and never had any encounters with it, leave it to Nixyn to be the first. At least I know that she won't walk close to it ever again. Well, we can only hope.
Anywho we spent hours at the hospital, every time we were close to getting seen someone would come in that was more critical than Nixyn. She was a good sport. We laughed we cried and played and watched the first 20 minutes of the same movie over and over again.
They put her under, stitched her up gave her a teddy bear and two popsicles and we were good to go!
The plastic surgeon did an amazing job! And I'm so grateful that Billy and his Dad were able to give her blessing before the procedure. I'm grateful for the power of the priesthood and the blessing it brings!
Here are some pictures, if you don't like the site of blood don't scroll down.

Split right through her ear, can you see the gap? There was also a gash behind her ear.
