Goal- I thought it was a good idea......

Regarding the post-a-month goal... well, you see how that worked. The desire was there, but often the time wasn't. As life goes, other items got in the way and the months flew by.... Let's see if we can do some catch up. Don't think there is a rip in the space-time continuum, the pictures and posts will be just dated for the months I missed....... (I had to try and tie Star-Trek in somehow when I mentioned space-time...)

Winter time...

This winter has been a mild one. We have had a couple good storms, as is evident in the photo. I had to work late one night. I could tell I'd been there a while, since there was a dry spot after I pulled the car out. It would be nice to get so much snow tonight that we will have a snow day, but I don't think it will happen. Just one more day then I have Friday off. (We had parent/teacher conferences this week and we always get the following Friday off.)

 All of this snow came after Parent/Teacher conferences ended. I have the only tire tracks.

Maybe we'll try something different....

It has been quite a while since we have updated our blog. It just hasn't been high on my list of things to do. When I do have the time, I don't know what to say. But I am inspired by a neighbor who took a picture each day last year of her family and posted it on her blog. Sometimes she said a lot and other times, it was just a picture. It was fun to read and look at the pictures. So I thought I'd try it. I don't want to do it every day, but maybe once a month for starters.....

Today we went to a family member's baptism. On our way home, we took a slight detour to take a picture of Parker by his drive-in. It is in American Fork. Unfortunately, it closed earlier this year, but we always wanted to get a picture of Parker by the sign. We'll we finally did it. Not very exciting, but something interesting to document.

January Stress

The ends of the quarter are always a stressful time for me and therefore the family. I have a lot of grading and such to do and it pretty much consumes my week. I don't have time for much else. Sometimes I deal with it better than others. I was feeling a little stressed and decided to take matters into my own hands. The video is the result of those pent up feelings.....

School has started

As you can see, we don't do so well at updating our blog. We thought it wouldn't be good to wait a year from the last post. Actually, Bret's sister Heidi hadn't updated hers for almost a year, so we thought we were okay. Well, she just updated hers, so now the pressure is on. (Granted, she had really bad Internet connection and it took forever to do anything online.)

The kids are in school and I am back to work. Dev is a senior. Seth's a junior. Jayden is in 8th grade. Zachary is in 6th grade. Natalie is in 4th grade and Parker is in 1st grade. If I didn't work, I would be going crazy. Time is going by so fast. I didn't take a picture of the older two because they left before I got a chance and they most likely didn't want to stand in line to get their picture taken.

Oh, my little pilgrim and indian. Parker made his indian costume at school. He loves school. Natalie had a Thanksgiving program yesterday, Friday.
