all grown up

We were relaxing on the couch after church today. Brynn was doing her own thing running in and out of the rooms, when she came out wearing, well trying to wear one of my bras she had discovered in my dresser drawer. Too cute not to post. So I put it on her, the picture I wanted to post I wasn't quick enough but these are just as cute.

Happy Halloween

I know, I haven't posted in what seems like forever. But somewhat good excuse. We haven't taken many pics. And I was at my parent for about a week, to put it simply, their computor is dumb. The stupid thing wouldnl't recognize my usb. So I had to wait till we were home. But even though halloween is much over by now, Brynn's costume was just too cute. I couldn't decide what to do for her for halloween. I decided to make one b/c nothing out there seemed cute enough. And the ladybug costume was super easy. So here is my cute plump little lady!Image

Glacier

Sorry these pics are kinda old. When I tried to upload them to the computor, it was being dumb and wouldn't read the card. So it's taken me a while to get it working. Cokknsidering I don't know that much about computors to begin with. So just enjoy. The scenery was beautiful. I'm so glad we made the effort to go b/c it was just so pretty. But boy are we out of shape! One trail 2.5 miles and we were done. It wasn't even that difficult, a little up and down, but not hard hiking. Very pretty once we got up to the lake though.

Brynn loves "helping" me with the laundry. She's so facinated with whatever door that's open. She tries to climb right in.
Image

Which brings me to our next big news. Brynn will be getting a new sister/brother in May. We're pretty excited about it. It's a plus that she loves babies too. But we'll see how she does when he/she arrives

Silly Brynn

I caught her the other day trying as she might to get into her baby stroller. She's tried many times and gotten stuck. The poor toy has lost half a wheel b/c it just can't support her weight. But none the less she pushes it all around the apt. broken wheel and all. Toddlers are so cute...and mischevious.

For FHE we went down to the dam here in Great Falls. I just wish the falls were flowing so that you could get the full effect of how pretty it is. But maybe another day. Just a little taste of what it's like here in Great Falls.... -dry-

Baby Eli

While we were home over this past weekend we stayed with Toms parents and his brothers little boy was staying. She was so cute wtih him. She tried as hard as she could to pick up this 18lb baby (he's only 4mo old). Just to see her struggle (even with help) was so hilarious. She wanted to pack him all around the house. She would if she could. She loves babies.

She loved holding him and finding his nose (as you can tell), laying on him. It was too cute. At church she wanted to do the same thing. So we set her on the bench and she just laughed holding him. She thought she was such a big girl. My baby is growing up too fast! The other day we got her 15mo. check up. she is 90% for height and 50% for weight. So big!

Our Anniversary

Image
We celebrated our 5th year together by me surprising Tom with lasik surgery. He's always wanted it, but I knew he would never set up an appointment. So I surprised him by going to Salt Lake. My sister in law went there and told the Dr. there were many more in the family that would like to do it, so he said send them this way and we'll give them a discount. What a long drive! 9hours. Ugh, it was awful, but we broke it up into 2 days, which worked out ok. If we would have done it here it would have cost us $4 g's! ouch! WE got it done in SLC for half the price. S0 worth the drive in my 0pinion.

Isn't he just adorable with the eyewear?! He had to wear these protective goggles for
3 nights so he wouldn't accidentally rub them. The procedure went great, the was really tired for some reason afterward. His eyes scratched like crazy. Like wearing contacts all day, forgetting to take them out at night (just magnifiy that X 10). But overally he's been really happy with the procedure and how it's turned out. Happy 5th babe with many more!

Time to catch up

Image Image Image

Wow, these last 3 months have just gone by! We've been busy with visiting Idaho and our families to vacation. But things have been good here. We've spent a lot of time at a water park here in Great falls. Which is nice b/c Brynn has all the control she wants when we go there. It's really geared towards little kids and it's great b/c I don't have to worry about her drowning, just about her freezing b/c she's soaked and won't come warm up! She is such a water bug.

The first week of July we (Brynn and I) went camping with my family, Tom was in Alaska fishing but wanted to be there with us. We had a really good time. Brynn had a difficult time with getting dirty. She hated falling down and getting her hands dirty and cried until someone picked her up off the ground(hence the dirty face). But loved being able to roam. THe terrain was a little rough for her but by the 3rd day she was walking around pretty well. She was overall a good baby except when it came time to go to bed or for naps. The only way I could get her to sleep was if we went on a 4-wheeler ride, which she loved!
For the 4th we spent it with Toms family which was fun. We had a BBQ and watched fireworks afterwards. Brynn couldn't get enough of her cousin Parker and enjoyed giving him loves and kisses.

This past weekend we went to Holter lake about an hour away from us to jet-ski. Brynn looks so darn cute in her lifejacket but had a hard time wearing it. I think it made her too top heavy and she had a difficult time walking around in it. The lake was warm but not one I would care to go back to. Instead of sand there were pebbles which hurt to walk on but we still had a good time. Until the weather took a turn and we had to pack up and leave. But we enjoyed being together as a family

Man Down

Unfortunatley I can't upload any of my new pictures from my camera for some reason which is very irritating since I havent blogged for a while now. so I'm afraid with my computor illiterate skills, and that of Tom's it will be a while before I can figure this thing out. Why can't it be so much easier with computors!? But we are all doing well. Brynn is growing like a weed and is increasing her vocab. She now has bye-bye down and waves, says tain-too, and is little miss independent. Loves eating watermellon (new to her but loves it), jibber-jabbering all day, tries to dress herself in my clothes or shoes, and is just an overall joy to Tom and I.

We are both doing well, Tom is still working for a dentist here in Great Falls until we find a practice. I'm working at a local hospital here and its going ok. Although I'd rather be home most of the time. But while we are here in Montana we are getting the most out of it. Until I figure this dumb thing out with the computor, we are all doing great and love all of our friends out there. The Bigelows

Before

My baby is now 1! Aaaahhh, I cannot believe how the time has just gone by. Well, she enjoyed a couple of bites of her cake, then after a sugar high decided she had had enough. It was so funny to watch her try to wipe the frosting off on her high chair. She did not like the mess. Which actually surprised me becuase I thought she would enjoy making a mess.
Now she is almost walking. She stands on her own, but is a little more causious when it comes to taking steps on her own. I miss my little tiny 7lb 3oz baby. but I'm enjoying every minute of her in exploring/getting into the pots and pans, dumping out the diaper bag contents after I just put them in, dragging out ALL of her toys only to not play with a single one, saying mama, dada, the grunts, laughs, the whole baby package.

after

We just had to give her a bath after her ever-o-so delicious cake. And since the sink was so accessable, I couldn't resist. Her first in the sink. She didn't know what to think about it for a little while, but soon after enjoyed it. Birthday's are always so much fun. I just can't believe my baby is already one!

Just new!

I can't get enough of how much fun (most of the time) being a mom is. She has this thing with the dishwasher now. Everytime we open it up she loves getting into the silverware and pulling things out. Only this time she figured out how to climb on top of it. She is getting much more braver than ever before.

pigtails

while we were home this weekend for Kamerons baby blessing, my mom thought Brynn would look so cute with pigtails. Unfortunately we didn't have any rubber bands small enough. So while out shopping I decided to get some. I was surprised that she sat and didn't complain while I was doing her hair.

But it was helpful to have the toothpaste and toothbrush to distract her. Hence both of them in the pictures. She wouldn't let me take them away from her. She's so stinkin' cute. I can't believe how big she's getting. She'll be 1 on the 17!

10mo. pics

Me feeling like a terrible mother for not getting my baby's 4mo. or 9mo. pics, I decided to take 10mo. so at least she has her 6mo. and 10mo. pics. I guess I was just lazy. Plus it kind of put a sour taste in my mouth after her 6mo. pics. I took her to Walmart (bad idea). The picture turned out ok, but it could have been done so much better if I had known of anywhere else to take her. But considering I didn't I just decided to go there.
Image
What a disappointment. I swear, they'd give anyone a job. The girl didn't seem to know what she was doing and it was just frustrating. So instead of taking her anywhere this time, I just decided to do it on my own. They're pretty amature, but hey I thought they turned out pretty good. Considering Tom wasn't here to help me with setting her up, fixing her bow/hand from pulling her bow down, crying, getting her atttention. Ugh, it was hard to do it alone. But some pics turned out pretty cute.

I think this one is my favorite. I just love her chubby legs and cute bum!

My baby's Crawling!

Yesterday was a momentous day. I had the day off from work and was laying on the couch trying to take a nap with one eye open on Brynn. The next time I opened my eye I saw that she was up on her knees rocking back and forth, moving one leg in front of the other. Making sure she made purposeful movements. I was so excited to tell Tom. He was just getting off work. Finally my 9.5mo old baby is crawling! She also discovered she can drag herself too. It's pretty funny to watch her drag her 23lb body across the floor.

Go Steelers!

Before we left Pgh. a friend gave me an outfit. Cuase' ya know we gotta be representin'

Santa stories

We decided to take her to see santa since we missed our ward christmas party. So fun! She was doing great for a little bit. She kept taking second glances at the cheery man in the red suite wondering who the heck is holding her with all this fuzz on his face. Then well, you see what happens next. It was so cute.

soo tired!

Brynn was so cute the other day. I caught her bent over her toys fast asleep! She was so tired and it was so cute. She just wore herself out playing.
