New Cousins

We introduced the newest cousins to each other on Sunday. Just 4 months apart, they will be great buddies just like their siblings.

Isaac's 3rd birthday party

Isaac received the "Big Buzz" Lightyear that he has been asking for since we went to Disney Land in February. He has never loved a toy more.

No messin' around

Mommy: "Isaac, what are you doing?"

Isaac: "There's something pokey in my nose!"

Mommy: "It might be your fingers."

Almost 5 months and almost sitting!

Wow. Almost 5 months? She's almost half way through her first year!
I'm having a little panic attack thinking about how quickly she is growing.

She really is growing so fast. Her 3-6 month clothes apparently only lasted 5 weeks because her pants in this picture are totally unsnapped for comfort while she practices sitting up. Babies have it good. 
Her cute hat and slippers were made for her by my mom. I love them.

THREE THREE THREE

I sure love this little green eyed monster and even though he has been saying for months that he is three, it's hard to believe it's really true. He's a smart, articulate, little squirt that keeps us laughing and on our toes.

SNOW!

Yesterday it was 70 degrees (PERFECT FOR HALLOWEEN!). Today 35 degrees and snowy. Welcome to Utah. I decided to get Isaac and Mara out of the house and we headed for the library. Isaac was THRILLED with the snow on the ground. He walked right into it, bent over and touched it and said "Teee heee... I like this!!!"

Speaking of the library... we picked out 5 books for him. I read them before his nap. When he woke up I walked into his room and the first thing out of his mouth was, "I'm awake and those are awful books. I want to take them back to the library and not buy them."

Mara is our first baby ever flexible enough to enjoy her toes as a little snack. I love all the little things that babies get away with. It's cute when they toot or belch or drool. If I walked into the room and saw any of my boys with their feet in their mouth I'm pretty sure I'd freak out.

Charlie's Baptism

Our sweet little boy is 8 and was baptised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today!

He is such a great kid. Smart. Friendly. Athletic. Protective. Focused. Creative. Silly. Love him.

One of his favorite things to do is to write things to do is to write things about other people using the letters of his name. He asked me to do one for him recently:

Isaac was a little hilarious handful, as usual. Right after Charlie was baptised he yelled, "OK! My turn!" Luckily we had a lot of family in town to help out and to celebrate Charlie's special day.  I'm really hoping my wonderful sister took more pictures for me because apparently I spaced it and this is pretty much it!

First Hunt

Charlie and Jack each took turns joining Greg on his muzzleloader hunt. (Hmmmm... did I really space it and forget to take a picture of Jack with his dad?) Note charlie's little notebook he took along to journal observations.
