After Christmas Fun

We spent the day after Christmas playing with all the new toys the boys got. Easton enjoyed his pull along alligator!
Image
And of course teething on his new hammers. He got two toys that involve hammers and he loves eating both of them!
Image
We set up EVERY piece of GeoTrax that Brayden owns and boy was that an adventure! We never got a picture of the entire setup but let's just say we ran out of room in the kitchen!
Brayden was VERY intent while playing GeoTrax!
Image
And for the most part, Easton (who would have acted like Godzilla with the GeoTrax setup) watched from his highchair and couldn't leave his feet alone!
Image
Most of the GeoTrax added to Brayden's collection were the Cars characters they just came out with. Lightening McQueen, Mater, Sherriff were hits with this little boy and of course the Fire Station that Great Grandma Price gave him too!

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas and got spoiled with all the gifts! We had SO much fun watching Easton enjoy his 1st Christmas!

Easton's stocking...as you can see it wasn't quite finished in time for Christmas but it is now...I think. ;)

After opening presents and having breakfast at our home, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt's house to open presents there. Everyone there wanted to experience Christmas morning with the boys so they stayed in their pjs.

Great Grandma Price gave Brayden a GeoTrax firestation.

After spending the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt's house we headed up to my Aunt and Uncle's house. Jason and Carolyn and their kids had everyone over for dessert and more presents! We got to see Great Grandma & Grandpa Leavitt there and the boys opened the gifts they gave them.

Christmas Eve

We hosted Christmas Eve at our house for the first time and it was SO nice to be home and not have to drive somewhere and then still have a long night ahead of us! We had Grandpa Leavitt, Grandma Leavitt, Aunt Torey, Uncle Kellen, and Uncle Logan over with us. We had dinner, read the Christmas story in Luke, watched the Luke 2 dvd, and then the boys opened their Christmas pjs.

Mommy helped Easton.

A decent picture of our two little guys!

Then it almost turns into strangling by Brayden...but Easton's still smiling!
Image
Brayden was SO excited for Christmas this year and was VERY worried about how Santa was going to make it in the house since we don't have a chimney. (We do have a fireplace though so it's just a little confussing for this 4 year old!) But after a phone message from Santa (iphone app), he was assured that Santa would make it by coming in the back door.

Easton loved his first Christmas!

Brayden left milk and cookies out for Santa on the fireplace...Oreos are Santa's favorite at our house!
Image
But he couldn't forget Rudolph too! He left him a plate with a few carrots on the back porch!

Sibling Gift Exchange

We gathered with Brian's siblings (minus Carrie who needs to move to Utah and be by the rest of us) before they headed home to Washington for Christmas to exchange gifts. Here's some highlights of the evening...
Image
Brayden brought me a red ball and told me to put it on my nose and be Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and he pretended to be Santa his sleigh. He's always entertaining with what he comes up with!
Image
Easton enjoyed crawling around and checking everything out.
Image
My favorite niece Rachel getting help from her Daddy to open our gift to her...a cute dress and adorable RED mary-jane style squeaky shoes!
Image
Brayden got help from Aunt Stephanie to open his gift from her...more hot wheels and a new set to add to his hot wheels tracks.
Image
Easton got into the action opening his gifts...
Image
...but the ribbon proved to be VERY entertaining!
Image
Stephanie won best expression of the night when she opened up the Garmin we gave her for Christmas! (She's our #1 babysitter who doesn't accept payment, but we try to take care of her in other ways.)
Image
Aunt Beth, Uncle Bruce, and Rachel gave Brayden a very exciting gift...a guitar! He loves to play it and is constantly making up songs to sing along with!

Kids Christmas Party

A friend and I got together and organized a little kids Christmas party for our children and their friends today to celebrate together. Brayden was SO excited and for having about a dozen kids ages 1-5, the party went really well! We started off with the kids playing while Mom's visited, then decorating sugar cookies (which I made), and then a white elephant gift exchange.

Major concentration!

His finished product! A little heavy on the jelly beans if you ask me but he loved them!
