6 Months old!

Sydney is already 6 months old! I can't believe how the time has flown by! We have enjoyed every minute of her, and love watching her grow. The boys still race to see who gets to be the first to hold her in the morning & after school, and they each need their own "big brother" time with her every day. They are all great helpers with her, and they each have their own way to make her smile & laugh. She is definitely a mama's girl, but she LOVES daddy! When she hears his voice she kicks her feet & grins at him. He is very proud that she is saying Dadadada over & over. She hasn't had her 6 month appointment yet, but here are some of the things she is doing now:
She is sitting very well by herself, she loves eating baby food (green beans & bananas are her favorite), and she is not big on rolling or even close to crawling, but she loves scooting on her back. She loves baths, and concentrates very hard on trying to pop the bubbles in the bath. She also loves the vacuum. Ever since she was a newborn, she will instantly stop crying when we turn the vacuum on. I love to watch her little head go back & forth watching the me vacuum. It's probably because even when I was pregnant I have vacummed at least once a day since we have lovely dark green carpet in this house we are renting. However, if I turn on my hair dryer(which I hardly ever do,) she screams.
Anyways, I just wanted to share this 6 month milestone with you! Our children grow way too fast, but we need to cherish every moment of it!

Happy Easter!

We had such a nice Easter sunday as a family, and hope you all did to! The Easter bunny arrived & the kids had so much fun with their baskets & their hunt for the hidden eggs. However, we really tried to remind our boys of the true meaning of Easter, and I loved watching their faces as we talked about the Atonement of Christ & the Easter story. They once again soaked it all in, and I could see their testimonies of the love that the Savior has for them really grow. That filled my heart with pure joy & gratitude. I love these beautiful children!
