Well where to begin! So many things have happened since the last time we have blogged. Here is a quick update of the most recent events.  In the last two months we have picked up a free puppy. We got him when he was 7 weeks old and he is now almost 17 weeks. His name is Maverick and he is part Lab and part Australian Shepherd! His coat is black with dark brown eyes, and he has white on his chest and his toes! Capri loves him! Unfortunately, the people who gave him to us did not take very good care of him. So basically he has been sick since we got him. He has been on medicine and had weekly shots for the last six weeks! He is now starting to feel better! So far he is a great dog!

About four weeks ago we had to rush Capri to the hospital. Sunday she had ran a fever and it only had increased by Monday. Dallin and I were watching it closely. Our thermometer never measured higher than 101. Monday afternoon she was lying on Dallin's chest watching TV when something on TV made her jump. Dallin looked at her and she just had a blank stare. She was not responding. Her body went limp and we couldn't get her to respond. We rushed her to the urgent care that is a 1/2 mile from our house. She started vomiting in the car and still we could not get her to respond. Once we got to the urgent care we noticed it was closed. The next thing I know Dallin is yelling, "Call 911." The fire truck got their first.  By then Capri had finally started to come around. Her temperature was 105 and she rode in the ambulance to the hospital. After a long time of doctors, switching rooms, and tests the verdict was that she had a urinary tract infection. The UTI caused the fever and when the fever spiked it caused a fibril seizure.  By far the scariest thing neither one of us has ever been through. The follow up tests did not show why she had the UTI, but we did find out she has urinary reflux. Which is where her urine backs up into her kidneys when she peas. She is on an antibiotic and has to see a urologists. If we can't get it fixed by age 5 she will most likely have to have surgery. She is feeling a lot better now!

About three weeks ago Dallin had to go in for a root canal and has had to fix several cavities!

Two weeks ago today the most exciting thing happened! Kellen Tate Greenberg was born. He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long. We stayed our two nights at the hospital and brought a healthy little boy home! The adjustment has been a little difficult for Capri. She is now getting use to the fact that he is here to stay. She loves to hold his hands and give him kisses. We have been so blessed to have two healthy kids born into our family! It is so fun to watch them grow and change daily! We love them and our excited to have a family of four.  P.S.  for those of you who made it to the hospital to visit we have a lot more pics these are just what are uploaded to our computer at the moment!

About a week ago Capri knocked over a picture frame at Grammies and the glass sliced opened Dallin's leg and he had to get stitches to close it up along with a tetanus shot! No Fun!

June 12 was Dallin's B-Day! We were able to spend the day as a family and were even lucky enough to have Grammie and Aunt Rachel hang out with us!

And today is Father's Day! I couldn't be more happy with our life. Dallin is an amazing dad and we are so grateful for everything he does for us!

EIGHT MONTHS...And Growing

We have a ton to update on our blog...too much in fact. So we are just gonna skip ahead a few months and then maybe go back and add stuff later. Last month I tried out Papa's new camera at his house and took some 8 month pictures of Capri and got a few good ones of all of us. They still have a little editing to do but this is good enough! if you notice, Capri liked to stand up all the time. Now, she is 9 months and we are a walking machine! She can't sit still- she crawls, walks, squats, and is trying to figure out how to climb up things. She is so anxious to walk better and see everything that she tries to run and just falls down, its pretty funny.
