Innovation Space

Welcome to the BME Innovation Space. We are located in Denney Research Building (DRB) in rooms B7, B11, B14, and B18. This space hosts a variety of equipment for device fabrication, including machining, 3D printing, and electronics assembly. Use of these facilities is restricted to BME-affiliated students, staff, and faculty.
We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:00 PM. Extended hours are available upon request.

Equipment
Training
To use the Innovation Space, users must have the following training:
1) General Shop Safety Training via TrojanLearn (certificate can be emailed to the shop manager)
2) Innovation Space Orientation (in-person appointment or video)
3) Machine-specific training: users must take a machine-specific training for 3D printers, laser cutter, and all equipment in the machine shop. Other tools do not require extra training.
