Pretty Princess

Image
Colbie made such a cute Rapunzel this year for Halloween. She LOVES Rapunzel so it was a no brainer what she wanted to be. She was so excited for her school program. She even wore an itchy wig the whole time. It kept getting tangled up in the little boy dressed as a deer next to her. She didn't even care.

Colbie and her bestie Dylan!

Singing songs and doing the actions. We couldn't really hear her singing but she sings the songs enough around the house that we know she knows them. Her favorite is saying the poem "peter, peter pumpkin eater" She still says it ALL the time!

Having snacks at the end of the party! Always a good time!

Trick or Treat

Image
This year we decided to venture out of MY comfort zone and go to our city's downtown trick or treating activity. If you know me you know I HATE crowds and this to say the least was a CROWD. We filed in line with the rest of the residents and went trick or treating to all of the businesses in town. The kids did have fun and I have made a few notes to myself for next year to make the experience better for me to!
This year for Halloween Camden is a Zombie Prom Queen, Carter is the red ninja turtle, Colbie is Rapunzel, and Crew was an elephant! They looked so cute!

PPC Party

Image
A while ago we had our annual Pizza Pumpkin Carving Party. It is always a blast. Totally crowded in my small house but always a good group of friends and awesome pumpkins. This year we opted to bring our pumpkins Pre-gutted. Which totally was the way to go!

Image

Everyone hard at work. The kids are getting older and more into doing their own pumpkins. They love it!

Camden hard at work carving her HUGE pumpkin Grandpa gave her. She carved a cat face!

Image
Carter went with a Ninja Turtle face, it turned out awesome!
Image
All of the finished products. We light all of the pumpkins with candles and turn out all the lights. It is cool to see how they all turned out but I can never get my camera to work in the dark so I get a lame shot. It was a fun night!

Happy Birthday Dad

Image
Clear back in October (that's how far behind I am in my blog posts) we celebrated Brooks birthday. He is so old now! We sang in the morning before school and then it was just another day. Birthdays just aren't the same when your old!
Image
Brook is not a fan of cake so every year instead of cake he gets a chocolate pie from Village Inn. Its his favorite! We had a few friends over and sang again! It was a good day! We sure love our dad all he does for us!

Goof Ball

Image
This little man is changing everyday. He is turning in a little boy instead of a baby. He LOVES his winter hat. He puts it on and wears it all day! He is often found at our house looking just like this. Hat and shirtless!

One handsome little man!

Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch

Image
Do I have the BEST dad in the whole wide world or what???????????????????
Yes, yes I do! And he is the best grandpa to! My dad grows the best pumpkin patch just for Grandkids. We didn't make it down to pick our pumpkins this year so he delivered them to us. How awesome is he! Thank you SO much dad! We love you!!!

The kids were in heaven with their HUGE pumpkins.

G&G

Image

Grandma and Grandpa braved the awful weather and came up to see us on Conference weekend. We had an awesome chill weekend. Lots of dancing. My kids can't get enough of Grandpas dancing! Poor Grandpa gets so dizzy spinning on these kids.

Even Crew got in on the action.

Reading with Grandma!

Crew can't get enough of his "pa pa" he even wanted Grandpa to share his pancakes.

 A weekend full of loves!

The kids always love when Grandma lays with them to fall asleep. Cuddle time! We love having these two visit us!
