So my little boy has now had his 3rd trip to the emergency room. The first time he went was when he wasn't quite 1 and couldn't talk much. He landed on his foot funny and didn't walk on it for 3 days. Turned out he just had a sprained ankle. The second time he did something to his neck and I couldn't get him to move it. When I found him he was under the blankets off the end of my bed. He ended up with a strained muscle in his neck and was fine after that. On Friday we had our third trip.
I was in the shower and I could hear him crying. I got out and asked what was wrong. He told me he had his toy knife up his nose. I had just bought him a bunch of G.I. Joes on Thursday. They came with a bunch of tiny weapons, so I knew which knife it was. I asked him why he put it up his nose. He told me he was going to pull it out for me and say, "Surprise Mom!" Yeah surprise. I got a flashlight but I couldn't see the knife in there. I told Wade he was probably going to have to go to the doctor. He told me the knife could just stay in there forever. I called my Mom to see if she knew any tricks to getting it out. She said to take him to the ER. I also called Brent, he came home from work to see if he could see it and he couldn't either so he followed us to the hospital. When they used their little light in his nose they could see it so we knew it wasn't too far up there. To get it out they sprayed some nasal spray in his nose to open the air way up a little more then they had me do the parent kiss technique. What I had to do was cover the nostril that didn't have the toy and cover my mouth over his and blow fast and hard a couple of times. That pushed it down enough that he sneezed it the rest of the way out. So crazy! Only my child!

Clouds & Rainbows Dream
Last night I dreamed about the Easter Bunny, Care Bears, and Jelly Beans. The Easter Bunny had given these magic jelly beans to the care bears. You see if you ate one of the jelly beans you could fly because they had pixie dust in them. Does anyone know the care bear song? Not the from the new ones but from the old ones I watched when I was a kid. It is so stuck in my head.
I wanna a be a care bear, oh it will be so great when I'm a care bear, oh I can hardly wait to be a care bear, and do the things the care bears do, oh I wanna be a care bear like you, you do?
I'd be like funshine and make the sunshine, I'd have a heart like love-a-lot, I'd be like wish bear and always be there, we'd be the luckiest bears in care-a-lot.
To be a care bear, it will be so great when I'm a care bear, I can hardly wait to be a care bear, we'll stick together through and through like glue.
Don't wanna be a cook or a fireman, don't wanna play trombone in a marching band, I just wanna be a care bear like you, just wanna be a care bear.
Yep that will be in my head all day. It just cracks me up how my dreams go from blood and gore to care bears, clouds, and rainbows. So funny!

More Crazy Dreams
Holy cow I had a lot of crazy dreams last night. I don't know if I slept at all without dreaming. First I was in college and I was in some crazy drama class or something. Anyway we had to act out a bunch of stuff and every time we did someone would die. It ended playing out the Revolutionary War and this blonde snotty girl's boyfriend stabbed her friend who then died on her while she was screaming and there was blood everywhere. Then it switched over to a high school dream and I had 2 boys fighting for my attention. I don't know who one of them was but the other was this kid I had a crush on in Jr. High. He brought me a pony. Then I was sitting in a high school assembly trying to get on the internet to find out when Salt Lake Auditions for SYTYCD were so I could try out and that is pretty much where I woke up. Crazy stuff!

Dreams
So a blog is a place where you can put your thoughts. So if you find this a little boring you don't have to read it. With my pregnancy I have the funniest dreams. And they usually don't make any sense, but I find them hilarious and so random. I've decided to start writing about them on this blog. So if you don't want to hear about my dreams then you don't have to read them plain and simple. But I am writing or typing them down so I can remember them. Last night there were two different dreams.
In the first dream there was a much anticipated high school dance I was getting ready for. I was deciding how to do my hair and picking out a dress. I don't remember much more than that I just remember feeling very excited about it. I think it came from reading Twilight right before bed. I was to the part where they go to Port Angeles to pick out dresses and about the last thing I read was Charlie asking Bella about not going to the dance.
The second dream was funnier. I was having dance practice and teaching them a new dance. It was my older class. I hope I can remember the moves I was teaching cause it was kinda cool. We started on the floor flipped over and punched and rolled and other than that I don't remember anything specific. I hate when I have dance dreams cause usually there are some cool things and I never remember them when I wake up. We had to cut dance practice short because the girls were headed to Jr. Miss practice. They were all dressed as the statue of liberty and I remember thinking in the dream how much I loved Jr. Miss. I hated practicing for it but I loved the actual competition. And that is truly how I felt although I don't really remember hating practice. The program they were preparing for in my dream would have been interesting because not only were they dressed as the Statue of Liberty but they had a lot of reptiles. There was this big lizard/dragon that spit nasty orange stuff. He was about the size of a cat and I was putting him in a baggie so he wouldn't spit nasty stuff all over in my car. Then there was a snake that had the same orange stuff that I put in another baggie. I was relieved when someone else came to take them home and I didn't have to. That is when I woke up. The girl that was taking them was a girl I'm no longer friends with but is unfortunately in my ward and I have to see her all the time. I remember thinking I was glad it was her and I hoped the nasty orange stuff was all over in her car. I was, however, nice and gave her a few more baggies becaus apparently I packed a lot of them in my pockets.
I'm sure the dance portion of my dream is from me thinking about dance starting next week and thinking that I have a little more choreography to get done before Tuesday. The Jr. Miss stuff and reptiles, I have no idea where my sub-conscious dragged that up. The reptiles maybe came from our trip to the zoo earlier this week but why Jr. Miss contestants were forced to pack them around I have no idea. It is pretty funny though!

Brent's New Horse
Brent's Dad had a horse that someone gave him. He had navicular and Alan nerved him. He is about 4 or 5 years old. Alan didn't really have much use for him so he asked if we wanted to take him and try him. So far he and Brent have gotten along well. The only problem is we can't come up with a name for him. Wade has named him Pepperoni and it has kinda stuck...for now anyway.
Fishing
This summer my boys have done a lot of fishing! We got a canoe last Christmas and they have put it to good use. Wade can actually cast by himself and is getting pretty good at reeling in. Here are some of his action photos.

Wade's 1st Trip to the Zoo
Grandma Diane, Dani, and I took Wade to the Hogle Zoo for the first time. I hadn't been there since I was a kid. It was really fun. They had a new exhibit that just opened in June. It is called Rocky Shores and has animals from colder weather. There were seals, sea lions, polar bears, and grizzlies. The seals were my favorite. They were the fat spotted kind. They were so cute. The coolest part was they had a viewing area that showed the bottom of the tank so you could watch them swim. The sea lions were also cool. There was one that was huge and its arms were probably as wide as I am tall. I felt bad for the polar bear he just looked really hot. The grizzlies were cute. All 3 of them were cubs. I also really liked the tigers. I just think they are such beautiful animals. The elephants were cool too. The baby was 2, born in 2009. The mommy was born in 1986 so she was about 27 or so. And the other female they estimate to be born around 1960, making her around 50 years old. Pretty cool. Anyway here are some pictures of all the fun we had.
