Abiga's First Day of Kindergarten

 The big day finally has arrived.............kindergarten!  Abigail has been so excited for this day and has been counting down for almost a year.  That would explain the happy smiles of the first day of school morning!

We had to get a picture of everyone else too.  Kennedy is now going to be the big helper at the house while sissy is gone to school.  How cute is she?

My Finley June.  She is almost 15 months old and not quite walking, which is a blessing since is so curious and brave.

I was so happy to see Abigail too!!  I missed her terribly the first couple of days.  I was proud of myself and held it together before I broke in tears in the truck on the way home from dropping her off.  I cried a lot the first couple of days of school.  She is my buddy and I missed having her around.  Proudly, I have made the transition, ;) and love that she is loving school.

Abigail has thrived in school.  She loves it!  She was one of only two in her class to identify numbers 1-100 in random order.  She has read the most books out of anyone in her class and her handwriting is getting prettier by the day.  When we went to parent teacher conference, Ms. Banner asked if we could clone her or if she could keep Abigail.

We had such a great time this trip to Deep Creek.  Here is hoping it is beautiful again next year!!!

 Our Birthday Girl!

Finley turned 1 on June 3, 2012.  She is such a delight!

After a little coaxing, Finley decided to give the cake a try.  

Kennedy help her sister open up her presents.  We had a wonderful party with all of our wonderful friends and some family.  Finley was spoiled!

Finley, you have proven to be our most adventurous baby.  You crawl everywhere and get into everything!  You love attention and making people laugh.  You have been such a delight to have in the family!  We love you!

 It is a good thing that Abigail has an adventurous Papa, cause she loves to go and explore!!  Today we went out to Eklutna lake and walked around and threw rocks in the lake.  Later I asked Abigail what her favorite part was and she said the hiking!  I am so excited to have a hiking buddy once I can actually hike again.  This girl loves to be on the move!

One of Kenny's favorite things to do is to throw rocks into water.  She will pick up rocks all the time and ask if we can go find a puddle.  She had a blast!

What a fun time we had with Grandma and Papa today.  We are so blessed to have them so close by and that they love us so much!!!  Here is to many more adventures!
