On Friday 15th of Agust we’ll celebrate the release of Dodie Bellamy’s new Finnish translation (from Tutkijaliitto) at my bookstore Stuff. The event starts at 6PM and ends at 9PM. Present discussing the book are translator / writer Viljami Hukka and writer / artist Katariina Yli-Malmi. Mill’s pop-up café ‘Valssikahvila’ will serve food and Stuff is naturally open until 21. The event works as the preparty for The Siuro Book Fair (Painetun sanan markkinat) that’s held the next day, Saturday 16th of August at Knuutila (Lukkisalmentie 49, Siuro). Stuff is as well present at the fair with a selection of books & art. The fair is open 10AM–5PM and continues with a club evening at the same location (5–9PM), with open mic poetry & Must Tone Ensemble playing live. More on PSM programme (in Finnish). Welcome!
